I can't say anything about their last album,cause I didn't hear it.I thought that it will be similar music to Dark Light.But if you say that Venus Doom is as good as Razorblade... ,I'll try to find some tracks from that album ;)

Wow,you're cute :) Hm..I will always like Finland because of bands like Him.Thanks to that group I started to listen to metal :D But it was a long time ago...Now HIM doesn't make so good music like in 90' :(

good metal bands from outside China may not even bother to play in China,coz it's not that popular here,and many bands just think not many people in China likes rock music,well to some extent...that is true...so,guys like me,u can see us as metal fans,not really metalheads,we are loners here,some kind of geek.wotever,screw them,metal is great and we will always like it right?haha.

many bands in China labeled themselves as Nu-Metal or Extreme Metal bands,in fact they are just lame suckers,their skills suck. of course there are also some good bands,but it's not easy to enjoy a really great metal show here

well I don't think I'm qualified enough to be a true metahead,maybe I am a metalhead in China,but definitely not a counterpart of your guys haha,this country lacks all kinds of rock music,let alone metal.yes there are some metal gigs or festivals here,but not many really,not many great bands,but lots of pseudo-metal bands,or stupid posers

I'm sad to say the only song that even comes close to ? - and still is nowhere good enough - is Etched in Stone. I actually might end up liking that more with repeated listens. I guess waiting all these years to hear more from the mysterious Lestat made me build my expectations just a bit too high, eh? Hehe. Still, I'm glad I finally heard 'em!

What I loved about Lestat ever since hearing ? on the Cleo comp were the beautiful vox and the lyrics. The music was nothing original... more like someone who heard one too many 80s dance songs playing with a Casio keyboard while trying to sound depressing. But the beauty was in the DELIVERY! It sounded so honest. On the album, all that's gone. No sing, just stupid whispering. Boring beats.

I've tried to play it numerous times and everytime I pause with my hand shaking over the mouse. I then proceed to burst forth into tears. Actually, it's one of those things that are so good that you just want to sweetly torture yourself by putting it off. Tomorrow I will go through it in its entirety (something I never do with albums). Have fun this weekend!
