Nice to know that you've been keeping busy going here, there and everywhere. I've seen Riga plenty of times on the TV before, and it does look lovely. How did Easter go then? I really enjoyed mine as it gave me some much needed time to relax. Overall things are going well for me at the moment. Haha, I am counting down the days to that holiday. For once in my life I feel like I've properly earned one! It might be a surprise, but I think it'll be the last time I go there for a while. I feel like something new next year. :-)

Hey hey! I've been naughtier and have forgotten to reply for even longer this time. Major apologies! How are things going for you? For me the job is going really well.. I feel really settled and most importantly am really enjoying it. Last month I had my graduation ceremony to say that I officially finished University, and this week I celebrated my 22nd Birthday! Thought that I would quickly mention that I am going to Spain in the Summer again. I know you'd like that haha. So yeah things have been busy here thinking about it! So sorry again.. I hope that Sweden has treated you well. :)

Well I got the job!! I'm in my second week of work now, learning as I go along. I work in the logistics department of a healthcare company and I'm enjoying it very much. :) On Sunday I also ran the Birmingham Half Marathon for the second year in a row. This year I went 13 minutes quicker, so I was so happy about that! I've been keeping pretty busy myself. :D I thought as much about Ewert and the Two Dragons. Like you've said though, they are good in recorded form. Very glad to know that you are feeling more settled in now. It does look like Uni is giving you many many good experiences at least. Ah, it isn't so cold here yet but I can imagine that everything in Sweden looks pretty when the snow arrives! Things become so chaotic when it snows here. Anyway, stay warm Juliane. :)

Thanks for the wishes anyway. The snow seemed to make everything a little bit better! I hope that your exams went well and that your teeth are fine! I thought that the dentist was going to take my wisdom teeth out after a visit a couple of months ago, but luckily not. Yes i've started with my thesis and it is going quite well. I'm finding it quite interesting at least. I have been travelling a tiny bit. I visited a friend in Nottingham recently and will be looking to go to Bristol soon. It's lovely there so I can't wait! Have you any plans for Easter? I broke up for the holidays today so i'm really in a good mood. The weather has been glorious here. Hopefully it has been in Germany too! =D

Sorry for being slow in replying! Uni has kept me really busy. At least i've got good grades for the first half of the year :) Yes I did have a small gathering at New Years. It was really fun! Congrats! I'm really happy for you :D How did Christmas go then? Mine was great... lots of food and drink helped to make things even better ;) I still haven't seen any snow so far! It's been warm here for the past couple of weeks. I think it's 11*C today! Feels strange in December. :P Oh I got all my presents extra early this year. Yes it was my first time. I wouldn't want to do it too often, but I am already planning to run another next year in Bath. I love that place. It looks so beautiful! Ahh.. it's non-stop for me at the moment with uni. There is so much to get done before my deadline next week. I'm not sure if it'll all be done! Best of luck with your English test.. i'm sure you'll do fine! Haha... you really don't want to know what's going on over here right now. It just gets depressing watching the news :P

It went really well! I ran it in a time of 1 hour 45 minutes, which I thought was really good. So many people run half-marathons for charity, which is enough motivation in itself. It's a nice way to try and make a difference I think! I will run it again and try and raise some money next time :) Uni has been insane for me too. I had a test today which i'll get the results for in a couple of weeks. Fingers crossed that I did well ;) I feel your pain! I haven't checked that band out yet but I will tomorrow, I promise. I have a free day off. Yay! :D

I must. A relaxing time is what I really need right now! University has kept me so busy over the past couple of weeks. At least I get a day off tomorrow :) It is much easier getting my licence through the post. I have it now, and my picture makes me look like a serial killer haha! How has uni been for you so far? Sorry for not replying! I became really busy and I totally forgot! My holiday was wonderful.. how was yours? It wasn't very warm in the Lakes but it didn't rain at least :) Oh I passed my theory very easily. It seems like ages ago now! Yes I hadn't much need for a license before, and got by very easily without a car. I always walked or used the bus instead. It's always handy to have a license though which is why I started learning. I have my practical test at the end of September :) Hope you did well on your exams even if you were unmotivated. I'm sure that you did fine! Otherwise everything is well with me. Sorry again! I feel bad now haha..

Actually I heard Roxette on the radio last week. Their new song was rubbish, unsuprisingly ;) Your trip sounds amazing :D Really hope you enjoy it! You'll soon be there :) I've got the theory part of my driving test tomorrow which i'm not looking forward to. I think i'll pass, but it won't be easy. Yes I have done that before, but not in the Lake District haha. I went paddling in the river that runs through my town, the River Trent once. It was really cold and rough, so we didn't last long in there! If I don't catch you before you leave, then I hope you enjoyed your trip :)

Haha, the Lake District is lovely when it's not raining! I got back from my mini-break earlier today, which was really nice :) Sweden/Denmark sounds like a good plan... i'd love to visit that region sometime soon. Wow, that must've been great! Are Roxette popular in Germany then? I didn't were still performing. They're only known for their 80's hits here:) I will download their songs soon, so thanks for the recommendation. Hey Juliane, no need to be sorry at all. I know what it's like :) Well yes, you are right. I finished my second year at uni at the end of May so i'm enjoying my time off now. It's gone so fast! Hopefully your workload will decrease soon :) That festival sounds amazing! It's a shame that we don't have something similar at my uni :( There was a festival in my town for the first time ever this weekend but I declined to go. I didn't fancy watching tribute acts for bands I don't like haha. I am going to the Lake District in August. Haha, how did you guess?! :-D Before that i'm going to the Peak District next Friday for 5 days. I can't wait :) Have you got any plans for when you've got some free time? Speak soon :)

Yeah I love the Lake District so much! I'm definitely a country boy, just love to sit and stare at the beautiful landscape :) Wow, it sounds like you've been on a really interesting journey! I have seen Vienna on the TV before and it does look like a beautiful city. Looks like there is lots to see! Just as you start uni, I finish haha. Well i'm off for about a month for Easter. After that I go back for just a week and then break up until September. Seems stupid I know but that's the way it's worked out! The weather has been nice here practically since the start of March. Haha I agree with you in regards to the Yorkshire accent. I can do a really good impression of one though! I had some exams at the start of January but I really hate them. I always say that i'm going to do lots of revision but end up trying my best to avoid it! I think I just about got away with it though :) This semester i've got to play a business simulation game similar to Rollercoaster Tyccon in order to pass the module. That should actually be fun... much better than coursework anyway! I might be 20 by the next time you respond :)

Yes I think that i'll download their debut album later. There are some great tracks on there, especially Execution Song. I could imagine that they're great live! Haha yeah, there are so many bands here that i've never heard of but probably would love! It's great they you enjoyed seeing them :) There are some areas of London where people have really strong accents. They talk really fast and I really have to concentrate! Thinking about it though, Scottish accents are much much harder to understand. You'd have no problem understanding me. My accent is really plain and boring as I come from the middle of the country haha :) Have you started back at uni yet? I start on January 24th :)

Happy New Year too Juliane! New Years Eve was very good. I went to a house party where all my friends were. Was very fun indeed. Plenty of drink and celebrating :-) Christmas was good too. Heavy snow nearly threatened plans here. Just melted enough for us to see family. I've had enough of the snow too! Wasn't happy to see it back yesterday. I was delighted with my presents. Got a lovely new TV for my room :) Nope haven't heard of them. I'm listening to Johnossi for the first time now and they sound good! It suprises me that people in other countries can tell what Kate Nash is saying sometimes! Her accent is very... well.... London :)

Nah I haven't been protesting but i'm really not happy about it. It won't really affect me but it's insane that they're trebling tuition fees, especially when one of the parties in the coalition government promised exactly the opposite to what is going to happen! Oh well, like you say at least Christmas is coming. The German Christmas market in Birmingham will be coming soon too :) Do you have the TV show The Apprentice in Germany? The candidates in the UK version were sent to Hamburg tonight having to sell chips to businesses. Was very funny to watch saying nobody could speak German! :)

How dare you call us geeks haha! :P Nah, the computing students are pretty geeky ones at our uni. Some look very... well... strange. I think we're put up so high because the lecturers don't want to travel too far from their offices.. lazy people haha :) Yeah I don't have the money or the ideas for presents at the moment. I'm normally the boring one who asks people what they want or instead gets them a voucher lol. Yay it's bonfire night here tomorrow! Time to set off more fireworks I think :P

They always like to stick us business students high up where we can't be found ;) Quite often the lifts don't work in our uni too which is annoying at times. Not a great fan of Halloween either so I didn't really do much for it. Plus we were in the middle of nowhere in Wales too :D Someone else organised a fireworks display on the saturday night though. It was a miracle that we didn't set fire to the house! There were a few narrow misses with electricity cables and the roof haha. It was all very fun though :) I know what you mean about people dressing up. People really do put a lot of effort into it! At least Halloween reminds me that Christmas is coming fast. Must start buying some presents soon I think! :)

I'm not really worried, probably won't be using German medical services anytime soon ;) Oh yeah, Scheeßel. We decided to go one week before the festival started. And then there was a shitload of complications until I sat outside my tent with a von Raven. Then life felt good :D But why is it that barely noone speaks English over there?

I'm taking a couple of days off uni to go to Wales though. I know i'll catch up on all the work.... eventually haha :D Plenty of exercise tomorrow, all these stairs at uni are killing me! I swear that I'll never take the lift, even if I have to walk up to the 9th floor! :-)

Now i'm in my second year I can't help but walk around campus with real purpose, whilst at the same time enjoying watching all the new students looking lost! Yeah i'm really lazy with my uni work too. I always say i'll complete my assignments with plenty of time before the deadline... never do haha. I think I work better being rushed instead of having too much time to think about something. Nope i've never heard of Boneparte but i'll be sure to check them out soon. I take it they're from Germany?? Haha yeah we don't have as many words in our language compared to others. I'd like to think that's why it's so easy to learn :) French really confused me because there are so many ways to say one thing!! :)

Yeah the Lake District pretty much is like that. We did a lot of walking together whilst we were there which was fun. Didn't even rain!! :) Hope you enjoy Paris... I hope to go one day! Haven't heard Klaxons LP yet but i've been told it takes a few listens to get used to. Love 'Echoes' though so must try it soon :) Hoepfully you'll get those results soon and that you get great results! You certaintly have to put a lot more effort on your course at uni compared to me! :P I think the alternative to beforewards would just before. In another context I suppose people could use previous or previously. It would make sense to make it an English word to make things less complicated!! Yeah we covered a lot there lol. Didn't know you called it the 17th federal state! Most of the Brits tend to stay on Menorca so it was nice to go somewhere else haha.
