Hi! I think you should listen to Rafael Anton Irisarri's album "The Shameless Years." Beautiful, dramatic, noise-filled ambient music that just transports you. Gives me some serious Belong vibes too.

Hi! Thought I'd be your first shout since 2015! Haha. That's more than I've gotten on my new account (is social Last.fm dead by now?). Anyway, that SOTL album is magical, I think “Gasfarming” might be my favorite track by them! I could listen to it on a loop forever... By the way, do you like Steve Hauschildt? He's the guy from Emeralds. “Arpeggiare” is one of the most beautiful thinks I've ever listened to, thought you might like it. :-) Cheers!

You do have a point, sir, no bluntness even required. On the Wake front, Here Comes Everybody is a horrifically perfect record. Les Temps Modernes had released it with the singles of that era included in 2002 and Captured Tracks vinylised it a decade later. Melancholy Man, written about Vincent Van Gogh could not be a better song and Plastic Flowers has the suitable amount of bittersweetness for a glorious pop record.

Hey, how are you doing? :-) I just saw your post on the Celer's 'Engaged Touches' album shoutbox - I agree it's a masterpiece. I try not to use that word very loosely, but that album is otherwordly good. Also, it was the first Celer album I ever heard & was instantly hooked, so it holds a very special place in my heart. Hope everything's well. Cheers!

It should be good. I've been listening to same places quite a lot recently. Belongs stuff doesn't seem to age, which is a hallmark of quality music, in my eyes! I'm UK bound ina few weeks, hoping to catch Tim Hecker in Hackney on the 19th of September! Let me know if you're going - would be cool to hang.

Hi again. Gotta THANK YOU for the Hakobune reccomendation. I'm in love! Devouring their discography on Bandcamp lately. He sounds pretty similar to Celer to me, in the sense that he also does beautifully quiet and subtle ambient pieces. "Away from the Lunar Waters" reminded me of Stars of the Lid though. Still, very personal work I think, and so amazing that he has released so much stuff -- there's so much to discover and to fall in love with! (again, another Celer similarity). From the albums you suggested me to listen first, ''Shadows Of The Lawn" was my favorite, but I liked the other one a lot as well. Playing "All The Other Hearts I Knew" right now and it sounds lovely so far. Thank you again for this!

Hello! Nice to hear from you again. I'll check them out and tell you what I think. It'll probably take some time though -- little busy lately! But I can tell you, after listening to this first track on YouTube, I know I'll love them. How beautiful! You have a lovely cat, by the way!
