Yeah indeed, the blues is still there, just some new instruments and effects were added. And of course it's less 'dirty' as you called it, everything is well planned. If he continues like this I will not hesitate buying his next album :) Yeah I've heard about his great live performances, though never seen him live myself. If there is a chance for you, then you should grab it ;)

Well I'm quite happy with Blunderbuss :) Of course it's different than Jack Whites earlier stuff, but this is a very good album in my opinion. And it gets better with each listen :) What do you think?

No problem. I've heard Wolfmother, since I downloaded an album of them, 2005, did not know if it's the best, but it is the only one I have haha. I'm now starting my last fm, took a look in your library and ... City and Colour, John Mayer, Queen, Oasis are bands that I love, I hear all the time going to work or to university.
