Hey, I actually followed the link from your profile to check out some Black Bear earlier :) I did like, though read there are two different artists with that name, so wasn't sure which I was hearing =P ... and I've got the Touchup album, but it has been a while since I've listened to it. Once I can break away from Elbow I'll have to listen to it again.

Hey there! Did you made it to the BA show a few months back? They're still not stopping by me. The closest is Arizona but I don't think I'm up to the drive :) Any new music recs? I've gotten hooked on Elbow these days. Have you heard them?

looks like they're coming nowhere near me. bah! there are a couple of (pricey) music festivals in SF this summer though, so I might try and go to one of those.

no shows. i spent all my money at the threadless sale, haha. seriously, i've been looking out, but am broke enough that i'm waiting for a show i really want to go to (the trip into SF always costs way more than the actual concert). i see you've gotten BA lined up, maybe the're coming my way!

I just looked at the date for the show here (the 29th) and realized I won't be able to go that day... I agree that they're a bit snug around the chest, but I'm tall so really like the length. I've got The Source, Robot Attack, Cowgirl and Indian Princess, and a couple others... (I made good use of my xmas list this year =P)

as a fellow threadless fan, have you gone over to 'the other side' and checked out DBH yet? I got some of their tees and LOVE EM (design and fit). .. and to make this a music-oriented post: you are seeing The Mountain Goats (lucky!). I'm planning on getting tix here if they're still available when i've got the $$$

i ended up with The Greatest Connection, which i think will freak people out more than anything, but i think it looks so pretty, especially the colors on the creme hoodie. in other news, i have never heard mates of state! something new for me to sample.

i'm thinking of getting the greatest connection now... just trying to time it right, haha.

yea, i heard some of the dates were cancelled because he had surgery. i missed out on the wishless tee so was thinking about getting it as a hoodie. that or the unicorn one. i guess the millionth order is likely to land tomorrow, maybe one of us will get lucky.

it was the best i've been to, i think. I saw them at the greek theatre in berkeley. it's this huge outdoor ampitheatre. anyway, they were amazing. the stage setup for the whole 'neon bible' them was very cool too. lotsa these little screens and a large backdrop with semi-creepy images. they're playing again this month nearby, but it's a seated event, and i just can't picture myself staying still.

I think BA is opening for John Vanderslice. If I'm not too late, I might pick up some tix for that show. My next goal, though, is to see The Arcade Fire again or Brandi Carlile.

I do the exact same thing! I've got an Arcade Fire and Decemberists tee, and the rest are threadless. I just placed an order during the sale, which included two tees for my little sisters. I've even started getting them for my father as gifts (he's a teacher, so I get him all the nerd-related tees).

sadly, other than a coupla concert tees, i haven't purchased any tops other than threadless in over a year. i'm totally addicted. and hey, you're seeing Voxtrot too! Never seen them live, but I'm fairly sure they'll blow me away :)
