Great library. Very eclectic. Wanting to get back into classical (used to listen to a lot of it in the eighties). Any albums/compilations you’d recommend? Not a big opera fan, but love most other stuff (harpsichord, orchestral, piano concerto, etc.). Followed, btw. :)

The late-career "Changes" albums are very underrated. Top-flight Mingus.

I've heard that Mingus himself preferred Let My Children Hear Music to all his other albums.

Kind Of Blue is a phenomenal album, but I definitely agree that A Love Supreme and The Black Saint And The Sinner Lady have done far more to earn their places in the jazz canon.
