Nice dude. Yeah, I saw the Aus tour post. Damn, I've just moved to Europe so I'll miss out :( I'd love to see them again. Cool you hung with them. I went to a meet and greet with them on the Decomposer tour. Good times. I wanted to see them in early 05 (I think it was) when they toured Aus but they only did east coast shows with Something With Numbers. My EVDKTL CD has the tour sticker on it on Below Par records. The good old days. You should definitely go to a show and let me know what it is like. I'll be super jealous.

Right there with you. I LOVE Decomposer. I got into them super early with EVDKTL but Decomposer is my fave album of theirs. I even made my own shirt when they toured Aus on it: http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k66/hectorial85/matchestee1.jpg and http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k66/hectorial85/matchestee2.jpg I don't think we'll see a vinyl release of it or A Band In Hope as Epitaph paid for those recordings and own it and probable don't think there is enough demand to put $ into releases. Unfortunately. I hope I'm proved wrong.

I agree on all points. I think Melodia's tracklisting was a bit off - jumped around too much between heavier and softer songs. I think it could've been better with the order being more straightforward. I'm pretty obsessed with Rave It, Wicked Nature, Funny Thing, Into The Fire, Green Utopia and Girl I Want. There are definitely some Nirvana esque guitar tones/style. I wish I was going to The Matches reunion shows. I just said I was going because I'm interested in it. I'm pretty sure they're filming at least one of them for fans who can't be there to stream.

I'm stoked on it. I'm so happy that they're back. After Craig's troubles with his parents and the band members leaving I was worried we wouldn't get new music. Then to come back with Lachlan West drumming (he's great) and a DOUBLE album made me super stoked. The songs are everything I love about The Vines. I'm happy that there is some more length to them and they're a bit more fleshed out than the short stuff from previous albums. I feel like it is a bit of a return to form. You?

Fuck yeah mate, The Matches are/were one of my fave bands. Saw/met them a few times too. Such a cool, creative and energetic band. I really like Shawn's new stuff - Maniac (with Jake from Something With Numbers) and Fortress Social Club and John's new stuff Bird By Bird.

Hey man! Sorry for the late response, haven't been on here in a while. Yeah I was at the Vines at hifi, I was downstairs at the left of the stage for most of it and then on the balcony yeah! Pity we didn't say hi. Are you in a band or looking to make one btw? I really wanna make a band with Vines influences that kinda thing, can't find anyone to jam with at the moment.

Hey! Yep I was at the Vines! Awesome show! I was sitting upstairs for a little while, but for most of the night I was downstairs near the stage. Did you see me?

Haha oh my god, yes! xD I only just watched last night's episode a couple of hours ago but that part was just awesome. The kitten one was so cute, and the way the French one backfired was so funny but the cape/ superhero one! Oh my god, cutest thing ever! I'm making captioned pictures of it now to put on Tumblr. ^_^

Haha yes! When I first saw that my mouth dropped open in shock, I couldn't believe that he did that. xD But I actually really admire how easy-going he is and how he'll do anything just to make people laugh. And haha, I was going to say the exact same thing, you beat me to it! =]

I loved it! :D Admittedly, their hosting was a bit awkward at times but the skits were hilarious and I think their hosting will get better as the series continues. Oh and the Taylor Swift part was so funny.

Hey. :D It arrived the other day and I have listened to it about 6 times since last night (more for a lot of the songs). I love it so much and it gets better with every listen. Vision Valley is a very good, but I didn't think it had enough upbeat, "hard" tracks. Atmos is great song though. Winning days is my favorite album from them (not Highly Evolved..blasphemy, I know), so I'm totally biased.

A lot of reasons, mainly to do with her age/ places to stay/ school, things like that. Yeah, one day. =] Noope I haven't. Hasn't arrived in the mail yet. Excited to hear it though! :D

Absolutely -- I love the psychedelic feel some of the songs have, not to mention they haven't skimped on a lot of their traditional material. It's my favorite album since Winning Days.
