Jamie, I forgot to say WORD UP to that song called Roviewade. I remember I got the notice on the day I was food poisoned sick at my mom's place over Christmas. I listened to it and dug the lyrics but the music was too indie rock for my taste. Which is a shame because I like what they're talking about but too bad they can't do it to some mega frantic jangly guitar.

I would totally come if I weren't planning to hear the gorgeous voice of Julian 'Hit Parade' Henry (which still might not happen because it is so expensive to travel when one has no income!). But after the success of this one surely you'll hold another and I'll be all up in that.

Oh I don't know, JamieSeeeee. I still haven't come round to it. I gave it a good go just before I saw him in April. Even live I thought I might be won over. But no. It's just all too polished and radio rock for me. There is nothing lyrically special about any of the songs, don't you think? Point something out to me if I'm missing it. Of course his voice still sounds spectacular overall, though he really strains it in 'Something is Squeezing My Skull'. Not sure if it's better than 'Ringleader...'(which I'm also not a fan of) - maybe it is - but it sure as heck isn't up there with 'You Are the Quarry'!
