I'm not really sure if I can go. I don't know where I could stay or how I could get to the venue once I was down there. I heard that its sold out already anyway. Oh well, they will be back again no doubt. I have already seen them twice, even though I would have liked to see them again. And thanks, it was really fun. Have you listened to the album much yet?

Yeah, things are really going well for us at the moment, after a heap of shows, at the youthie and other places, we have gotten quite alot better at performing live, and are really looking foward to the second band wagon in a few weeks. Also, we are going to begin recording with crouching 80s soon and do a split EP with them. Which will be awesome. Yeah, iv heard the full tinted windows album. Its pretty simplistic stuff, but im a sucker for early 90's style guitar fuzz, so i was content. The lyrics arent very good haha (you can tell they were written by that Hanson twat) haha

Yeah, I'v heard Black Tide, they had a track on the Iron Maiden tribute cd that came with kerrang! a while ago, i might try and track down their other stuff at some stage. Although i have an enourmous list of stuff to get haha. I have about 240 gigs of music at the moment, and there is about another 150 gigs worth sitting there in my torrent program waiting to be downloaded. My limit of 16 gigs a month isnt enough to keep up haha, although soon its getting upgraded to 50 gigs a month, so i might actualy catch up with that haha. The Protean Theory is going quiet well, just this afternoon we recorded another one of my songs which everyone seems to like alot. Next friday night we are playing at the new capital theater which will be awesome, then the week after that we are doing an end of term gig at the youthie with two other bands that we have played with before. Crouching 80's... and Red Letter Day

What makes you think the writing was a group effort? have you seen an interview with them or something? if so, please send me the link, im desperate for all pumpkins related information haha. You went and saw bands and didnt even find out what their names were? haha, i doubt i could live with myself knowing that.. Anyway, ill look up that band you said you knew the drummer in. You like placebo yeah? they have a new album out very soon too. Called "Battle For The Sun", its their first album since the departure Steve Hewit (their drummer since '96). So it will be interesting to see how (or if) it affects them.

I realy like the single, which is very promising, as singles tend to be by far the least interesting. I cant wait to hear the album tracks. It sounds very much like early 90's pumpkins guitar fuzz to me, which is very exciting. I wonder who wrote the material? judging from the single it sounds very much like James. Got the chance to go see any awesome local british bands yet? if you ever go to cardiff in wales, go see the automatic. They are highly awesome.

Well, you would be correct in that assumption, I realised that I used bebo so little i descided to delete my acount, as the 20,000 spam messages from hotgirl232 (or simmilar username) saying "xomg, you are so hot, lets have some webcam fun!" were too irritating to put up with. I use last.fm pretty much all the time, my life consists of mostly downloading/listening to music, and last.fm is a genious invention to aid people like me haha. England sounds like pretty much the perfect place for me, cold and rains all the time, and its dark half the day haha. Although i would probably prefer iceland or northern norway, as there would most likely be less people there. Traveling sounds fun. One day i wish to visit northern europe, norway, sweden, finland, and possibly iceland. You miss Tamworth? that doesnt seem possible haha. Unless you mean you miss the awesome people of Tamworth like me matt and jack haha.

What would i reccomend? listen to Mellon Collie and the Infinate Saddness, from beginning to end, its the highest selling double album of ALL time, i usualy wouldnt use popularity as a measure of sucess, but for an alternative rock band, thats a pretty big deal (and i mean alternative rock band as what it realy means, not in the way everyone calls everything under the sun alternative). Keep in mind that there is some pretty heavy stuff on their, im not sure what your stance is on heavier stuff, but yeah, its an amazing record. Then listen to Adore, it contains some of the most beautiful pieces of music is have ever heard

It sure is, i mean, they arent my favourite band for nothing, and thats just them from last year, they were amazing back in the 90's, their new material is somewhat lacking

Yeah, i very much think so, i mean, i consider myself to be a fairly intelegent person, and yet, i go and get a uai of 30.55 haha. While it is true i put in no effort what so ever, i dont feel lazyness should be such an important part of the criteria, as lazyness and intelegence are very seperate issues despite common belief. I never said aerosmith were crap, i think they are a great band, i just think the stones win easily

There were actualy quiet a few band around much like acdc, maybe not as hyper popular, but give the german band accept a listen, they sound pretty much the same.....And with regards to the singer, the vocalist doesnt count for anything in my opinion, the reaction of most people is to place 90% importance of them vocal ability of the front man, which i have always found to be rather strange, vocals require far less talent to produce than instrumentation, most people can sing to a reasonable level without lessons, its extreamly rare for someone to pickup a guitar and instantly know how to play it. So while its true that most peolpe focus on vocals, i wouldnt say that they are an actual important factor, the popularity of something can never be used as a possitive argument for it, as most people are just completely retarded, to quote frank zappa "most people wouldnt know good music if it bit them on the ass"

Well, the eminem thing was MANY many years ago, like year 6 and 7, but yeah, still unforgiviable haha. Ill have to bring round my external hard drive some time, you can get what you want off it

Everyone always says that, i dont realy think the vocalists have anything to do with the artistic direction of the band at all, ACDC are and always have been Angus Young. As far as complexity in the music in black ice, you are right, it isnt particularly complex or original at all, but acdc never realy has been

Oh, and you should change your charts on your last.fm profile to display your top 50, not just your top 15. Put your arrow over your charts and click on the little black arrow that comes up and go to options, and make it display top 50 :D

Where do you get their music from? well, illegal downloading of course haha, you need to download a torrent client like bitlord, then just download torrents from various torrent sites, i use pirate bay and mininova mostly
