That's really fucking awesome, they seem like cool guys. I've only heard the one album but I thought it was pretty great. Not the type of music I usually listen to, but good nonetheless

Really? I love the production on that album, even though it's incredibly different from the perfectly produced Inalienable Dreamless. I also love the Ambient passages that aren't on any other Gridlink LP. Anyway, it isn't everyday you find someone else who likes Prog Metal, Ambient, Drone, Grindcore and Post-Rock/Metal seemingly equally. Haven't seen you on /mu/ at all recently, did you stop trippin'?

Yeah I went in strictly because I heard that their shows are insane, but I ended up actually enjoying the music as well. I listened to one of their albums when a few days after and didn't like it at all. One of the only bands I can think of that are only listenable live.

Yeah I prepared ahead of time and got some ear plugs so that I could hear the music at a reasonable volume, but they were still ringing after the show was over. Easily the most enjoyable show I've ever been to, and I don't even like drone.

Good and with potential. I don't listen to music like that in the same way I would the average song. Its texturally interesting. You just need to put something extra into your style which cements it as more than just "good".

well aegir is pretty knowledgeable and before we do the final product ill consult a few other people. yeah, that sounds good, pick the tracks and let me know. I was thinking of putting Aseethe and LDRTTFS on there too. Khanate and Monarch. BBA and MOU should be on there too. From there, we go into ultra hipster so-underground-that-theres-a-tomb-in-the-tomb drone metal.
