Ya you're right. I did the same thing with Ben Folds Five. I had The Whatever and Ever Amen album forever! But I didn't really sit down and listen to it until a couple of years ago! It's such a gem of an album! And also, I've been listening to The Kills.... all I have to say is THANK YOU!! I'm in love!

Ah you can't beat a bit of Tom Waits, his voice makes me feel like i'm using part of my ears that would otherwise not be used! My dad went to see him live about 2 years ago, i'm still very jelous. Really hope he tours soon again! If you like Tom Waits you should try Captain Beefheart. He sang the original Dropout Boogie :D

The Kills are pretty amazing live, i've seen them 3 times so far, i'd say their best live song is Dropout Boogie. But VV is able to bring it more when she sings with The Dead Weather, she just connects with the audience more. When you watch The Kills it's like the energy between them is so tense that you can only stair, it's like they hypnotise you. It's pretty freaking awesome!

well i like to have music going in the background. also, i work in the public schools and we're all out for break right now so i'm on this huge vacation where i can just lay around and stay up 24/7 actually listening to music.
