  I'd say the most similar I know of is The Contortionist, specifically "Clairvoyant" being their most similar album. It has that deep ethereal, at times hypnotic vibe that VFTF has sometimes. King Mothership is another band that I could see scratching the same itch. More of a reach but they're pretty theatrical with often soaring vocals, they do have some sections that might be too abrasive if you only like melodic vocals though

    I know this is late lol but I'm grateful to you for showing me Clairvoyant it's one of my favorite albums now. Another album I discovered that's very similar to VFTF is Johari's Terra album.
