You have surfaced after a long winter and a bit of spring. How are you feeling? Did you suffer much from the cold and snow. I liked the snow but the cold and ice was too much, we only have a hatchback and the path is very treacherous as the gap between the gate posts is ridiculously small and on a camber so the car slipped sideways and destroyed the fence. The chickens went mental then quickly looked round, started clucking loudly and then ran off. I only got one back and that was not the best one. It has gape and is costing me a fortune in Flubendazole. On a positive note the wife is back but she has changed and not just the tattoos. She has learned a lot of very unpleasant words and phrases. Having 'you'll get shanked' screamed at you for the most trivial of misdemeanors is not nice. Anyway it's great you are back in circulation, when does the circus start up again, will you come to England? Although we're allowed to have French circuses here due to animals rights. Hello to my two Parisian minstrel friends, I am sorry I took so long to get back to you but I am sure you know how busy early November is for someone in my field. The new album is superb so far, I have listened to half of it, due to being so busy. I think that Isobele's line 'the coat hangers in my wardrobe are all dressed as me' was my favourite part, it really makes you think. I enjoyed the funny cameo with who I imagine is your roadie or maybe Johnny Tech. The segment where he is setting up the microphones. I think I will make copies of this album and put one each into all my Christmas cards. I am sure that people will enjoy their christmas much more with a bit of the remembering song being blasted out of the i pod docking station. Do they call ipods ipods in france? Hi, yes life is sometimes a climb but also no life is a sweet descent a happy free wheel down a long clear hill on a push bike. If it wasn't for the climb we would not be able to create the bank of potential energy required for the descent I love festivals, the music, the people, the cider, the stalls. I love to have my face painted with stars and to have brightly coloured ribbons woven into my beard. Although when I was in Valencia one time I was caught up in the Tomatina festival. Hello, the tattoo is awful. I wanted to get 'An injury to one is an injury to all' tattooed onto my back in gujarati. The simpleton tattooist wrote 'I am going to destroy you all'. Has one of you committed an act so despicable that the other one refuses to have anything to do with the first. Who's to blame. I am guessing that it is Jean luc who has been up to no good and that Isobelle refuses to forgive him. Jean luc strikes me as being the more tolerant so I expect it is that way round. I am sure you can come to some sort of amicable solution. I always find when I have been thrown out of the house that the best approach is to try and lose a bit of weight and shave the mustache off. You can always grow it back and start enjoying your food again once you have been accepted back home. I am not sure what it is like there but It is very hot and humid here which is difficult for me as I don't like looking at people sweating and my front room looks out onto the street and it is a very steep hill quite near the top. bb dd

Hello music makers. How have you been since we last spoke. I have had a mixed time over the spring. I spent a lot of time trying to overcome my fear of the sea but had a terrible set back. On a more positive note I have been focusing on my poems. I have completed five of them ("She lurks beneath waves", "The tide that never goes out", 'This water is ******* freezing", "Danger dolphin" and "Love and Fear(my quest for cockles and mussels)" ). I notice with great sorrow that there is nothing new on your page other than a picture of Isobelle in a flying saucer. Are you both OK, has your focus changed direction? Is there anything I can do to help. If you would like to use any of my poems that would be an honour. I already sing some of them. For Danger dolphin I use the seekers tune 'georgy girl' but obviously that is not set in stone. Hello, I am going to be spending spring in Prestatyn as I do each year. I stay with my Brother and his wife who is an aggressive German vegatarian, She has a good heart and will do anything for you, but only with a scowl. They are a little bit ludditey too so I will not be allowed to take the computer. I should be back by mid June so if the gig/tour is after that then no problem, if not then I should be wondering around offa's dyke thinking and practicing for next 3 months. Hello Kabaddi is an old team game where you have to send in a designated player who runs over the other team and wrestles with them. Then they run back. They have to do this while holding their breath. It's really good fun. I was introduced to it by a Hindu friend of mine back in the late eighties during my travels. It takes a while to get used to as there is also a lot of face pulling or gurning. Have a look I am sure they have a local club you could join and I know that Jean luc you are keen on wrestling. Do you like to hold your breath? I will have a word with the social secretary at Trinny's club and see if he knows of any parisian clubs I could let you know about. I hope you are having a good day. My friends? I feel so judged! I am not sexist! I have spent my whole life fighting for equality. I was the one who spent two years letter writing and arguing and protesting until Trinny was allowed to Join the local kabaddi club, which previously had a strict boys only rule. I am very shocked by this attitude. They way you refer to 'People in England' I can hear the edge in your voice. I am a firm believer in treating people as individuals. All the big problems in the world are driven by people attributing individuals behavior to groups whether they be races, religions or nationality. If you do find my life unacceptable then please only judge me do not direct your feelings to my neighbours. Let us all have a positive attitude to those we do not know until we have the experience to be able to judge. I hope this is not going to effect our future collaboration. Hello my friends, what a difficult night Friday was. Barbara was very aggressive. She kept lunging towards me with a piece of cheese on a cocktail stick saying 'try this one, it's divine'. I tend to not to stray too far from cheddar but I will try edam if I am trying to be exotic. She was making my eat all sorts of odd smelling chunks. I left early while she had nipped to the loo but she turns up at my door on Saturday morning with a freshly cooked Apricot Lattice and a low cut top saying that she knows it must be difficult with Phuong being locked up and thought I might appreciate a warm tart. I thanked her and closed the door quickly. I have spent the weekend with all the lights off and keeping away from the windows so she thinks I am out. I can not keep this up for another 10 months, what do you think I should do? On a happier note Cliff has just said his first words. Hello, So glad you are still around, so much has changed. I will tell you what happened in case you think I may be a violent hooligan or a flasher. My wife and I have (or rather had) a small business where we made toys and sold them on ebay (do you ebay?) And we designed this lovely bear with a detachable golden heart that you could open and keep secrets in and then you put the heart in a hidden pouch in the bears chest area, you know how children are with their secrets. Anyway it turns out that some people were using the bears to move contraband in and out of the country as the contents of the hearts could not be seen by the xray machines. We found ourselves going through the courts and they found us guilty. Luckily I was only inside for three weeks. the poor wife has got almost 12 months to go. She is not happy, but as I said in the letter I have just posted to her, 'It was your idea to call the bear Mr Smuggles'. So pleased to hear you are a hovercraft Isobelle bye my friends DD

I have been practicing and I have perfected a couple of pieces. One to accompany 'Let's all go to Tokyo' by your good selves and another as an accompaniment of Cornelious Trouts 'My Wife's Sister and I' (my favorite non Isobelle et Jean Luc song). Are you intending to do any gigs? If so, could I join you on stage for a collaboration?

I have decided to go for something very different to the kind of work the two of you are doing as I am obviously nervous about contrasting my candle to your raging flame of talent. Whereas I see your work as a kind of multilevel, auto-biographical, gonzo collection of seemingly unconnected events but linked by your lives and loves and longings. I am going for a concept album. It is to be split into three parts. 1. The Descent 2. The Connection and 3. The Ascent. Parts 1 and 2 are Serpent solos and are relatively brief but the Connection is made up of several sub parts or songs. These are, Discovery, Transportation, Delight, The Truth, Terror and Flight. The twins are naturally talented they have the voices of angels although we are worried about them fronting the band because some people find twins unsettling. The wife and I do not seem to be able to sing well at all so we thought we would focus on playing instruments. I have a 300 year old serpent and the wife has recently inherited a moog but we are not having a lot of luck with teaching ourselves. However our sound I think is something new. Trunks said he has never heard anything like it. I have some bad news, the pig escaped and we have not seen her since. My driveway alterations lead to a weakness in it's enclosure and if you know pigs you'll know they exploit weaknesses with ruthless determination a bit like Danny Velinski. Although our pig was called Babs. Anyway she's gone and we haven't seen anything of her since. However the fat man at number 36 did not seem to be able to meet my eye when I asked him if he's seen Babs and he seems a little fatter than he was. I am in England and it is also Monday. Hello Issy, sorry for any confusion yesterday. I looked up the word moineau at www.thefreedictionary.com/Moineau who describe it as the curtain thing. Clearly after discussing it with my friend who is a part time french teacher you probably meant that you see Jean Luc as a sparrow. I would hate for you both to think I was weird instead of simply being poor at research. I have since read that sparrows tend to be small and plump with short tails and stubby yet powerful beaks.
