Still awesome

Steeeeeve. Why is Opeth not your most listened band?

Awesome band. Doing my best to promote you guys.

awesome, i'll try to be there

I do a metal radio show at my college radio station, when it comes out I'll definitely give you guys a play/shout out. The station also used to produce a music magazine called "Sample," which got shut down in '99, but this fall we're reinstating it. If that works out i'll do a written review as well. are you guys planning any shows in Ohio this summer?

The new album is so kickass!

u guys are officially one of my favorites now though. Whenever i am finally able to get my own band going i always want to be able to communicate to the fans. I dont see why so many bands out there always act like they have to separate themselves from them instead of just talking and hanging out with them. I think it would be pretty great.

sweet just got your message. I'll definently be looking at your tabs at trying that stuff out. So if you all still need one in the future. I'll tell you all if i'm game

its really wierd that a band actually writes back to me from time to time. Yeah i actually really liked the new btbam. Have you all listened to the new dillinger escape plan? That album is really amazing. Also..if you all ever need an extra guitarist or...vocalist....im here :) lol just playing guys. Still loving your stuff cant wait to hear some new tracks in the future..but seriously...if u do lol

Congratulations on winning the contest! I did vote a couple of times so it's cool to be a minor part of it :) Best of luck to you, you deserve it. Can't wait to hear the new material.

We're super!

100% compatibility, nice.

I'm totally digging the 4 Jam Sessions. Can't wait for the new CD.

Oh man, havnt got to listen to the BTBAM yet, going to the show with Cynic and them jan. 22, its going to be tight

oh i also see you all have been listening to the new baroness album. Good stuff

Hey guys whats up, havnt been on here in a while. Just now saw your post about traced in air. That album was pretty kickass. Anyway, if your in need of any new music to listen to, im your guy, i am always looking just like you guys probably are. Also..if you all are in need of any extra vox on the new album.... I'll help? lol Been trying to get into the business for forever and it seems i just keep hitting a brick wall.

phhh i think its a phenomenal album!! i loved if from the first power chords of the first disc... its a great work i think...

I'll buy the new stuff when it's out in Europe or in the European ITunes Store. Visons of Light was just great.

Just want you guys to know that I listened to some of Visions of Light again tonight and remembered how much ass it kicks! What's the status of your new material?

Can't wait to check that out, I saw the videos you posted on Facebook, and it's sick!

Hey! How are you guys? I actually have two last.fm's (The other one being Faultymachine), but this is for my radio station/album review site/Twitter and such. Ho goes all your musical ventures? I have to say, I REALLY enjoyed Visions Of Light!

That's great. Will you keep on releasing your album free or do you think it's challenging enough to do that again?

Hi there Steve. I'm not bad. How's it going for you? Maybe it's early to ask but what about new material? Will Ironthrones release their second album on 2010? And will there be any obvious difference compared to Visions Of Light?

well i look forward to hearing some new material because every time i listen to your guys' album (for almost a year now) i always want more haha. Hacride are like a more progressive version of the band Gojira even though they are a bit pogressive already. theyre not identical in sound but Hacride are as well from France so you can hear the Gojira influence. what i like about Hacride is they add some cool keyboard and clean vocals in a few songs to change it up a bit

so what has iron Thrones been up to lately? have you guys heard of Hacride? think you guys would dig them

You guys kick-ass!

I have just gotten back on here after a while and saw your shout on my page about traced in air. Yeah that cd kicked ass. Your guys music kicks ass...any chance you all will need another vocalist sometime, ya know, for some dual vocals action lol.....j/p, im just looking for a band to join or jam with sometime. And again, great job making fantastic music

Animals As Leaders!!! .........oh, yeah and of course Irone Thrones!!!!!!

Hey, thanks. Great album, btw.

Not really. I don't keep up on mastodon much. Not really hating them, because they don't suck. I just don't really listen to them.

i fucking love your guitar work steve. it's some of the freshest and most intense stuff i've come across.

yeah man i understand........... i also like some NIN tunes

great taste mate i aslo love cynic are so high on ur charts

i wouldnt agree or disagree what they wrote on ur shout box. but carry on the way you are, love your approach. P.S. thanks for making coversmoke.. ..it was some of the best works i heard in 2009:D

I'm excited to see you guys, good stuff.

Agree with Vaxis, vocals are pretty sexy. Plus Dan Swano + Iron Thrones would equal success on so many levels, if you did that I'd be a very happy bunny.

@DurAthma: Nope. Their singer is awesome. Btw, you guys should get Dan Swano to do some guest clean vocals someday. Now THAT would've been something.

Ha, I also saw that review on RYM and in fact it was the reason I downloaded Hacksaw in the first place. :) I don't know man, it sounds pretty damn good, although at times a bit harsh and uninviting. I wouldn't say there's much in common between you and them. They have some cool slower parts, but the album (Wastelands) is mostly fast-paced, borderline technical death metal.

Anyone can as long as they're a member of the site but I think fans do it usually.I could do it for you but I don't have the proper info about you guys.

definitely. how sick would it be to go to sweden and see Mikael Akerfeldt in the crowd during a show. its just out here in america there are some excellent metal bands but their fans are generally based outside of the states

haha well your album is one of the best albums i've listened to from 08 so yeah enjoying it immensely and yeah the jrowa recs are quite brilliant especially In Mourning and In Vain.btw why don't you guys have a metal archives page?

glad you like them, and yeah Sweden is the metropolis for metal these days. seeing young bands like yours, In Mourning, In Vain (another worthy band to check out), Symbyosis, and Oceans of Sadness really give hope that the metal scene isnt dying.

hey you need to check out a band called In Mourning. their album "Shrouded Divine" was one of the best metal albums of 2008.

http://www.last.fm/user/vaxis/journal/2008/12/31/2d74v8_best_albums_of_2008 As promised :D

haha, good man! You're listening to probably my favourite band, ever, there. Their best, and most critically acclaimed album is definitely the first Crimson, but if you were looking to get more by them, get Purgatory Afterglow. It has some of their best songs on it. And about your album, I'm hoping to have a review up for it on Metal-Observer sometime in January, I know that's quite a bit away considering the album was released this year but I've had my plate full recently. I've been listening to it quite a bit on my ipod recently though, and the review will be very positive ;)

Hey guys! "Visions of Light" is so much awesome! "Cover of Smoke" is masterpiece, I cant stop listening it <3

Hey, thanks for adding. I was about to include Visions of Light into my annual top10 album list, and now I'm pretty damn sure I will :D

Great album!

incredible guys, thanx for the album , i will definitley spread the word, and try and get people to donate also..
