you exsist again

Good. It looks like I don't listen to much music anymore, because the more time I spend on /mu/, the less time I listen to music despite having downloaded 30 albums. Awful habit. Well that and the fact that I got a guitar and a MIDI controller for my 18th birthday so I've been messing around with that nonstop. I never really knew the potential of electric guitars if you have a DAW to distort it.

just a .gif i found on /mu/

Sweet. Addicted is another great one to check out if you want to get into more Townsend, as there are no bad songs on that album. You really can't go wrong with most Dream Theater albums, though Awake is probably their finest moment. You'd probably like their other stuff too, though. As for BTBAM, their new EP, The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues is pretty solid, and The Great Misdirect and Alaska are two other albums that are really good that have a chance at overtaking Colors. Alaska, however, has some stuff that's just okay, and Swim to the Moon on TGM seems to drag a bit, but that's just me. And the other stuff I recommended is really good too: that Mirrorthrone album is avant garde symphonic black metal, while the Disillusion album is a really good progressive metal concept album.

Hmmm... it depends on what you have and haven't heard. My top three albums, personally, would be Dream Theater's Awake, BTBAM's Colors, and Devin Townsend's Addicted. I know you've heard Colors before though. If you want more underground stuff, give Mirrorthrone's Gangrene and Disillusion's Back to Times of Splendor a try too. If there's any specific artists you want recommendations from, let me know.

Go on Steam :3

pop-rock album 6/10, it's o.k.

Hullo AYB! :D

How did you like The Slip?

I don't have time to listen to everything. On top of that, I've been getting music much more slowly lately. @__@

Hi. Nice taste :)

Yes on the placebo effect, although I'm biased because I haven't listened to a vinyl that's less than 25 years old.

Ah, well to reiterate "I went to New York for a week and I bought my first records, they're first pressings of Dark Side of the Moon, Pet Sounds, and Gil Scott-Heron's debut album. And I got second pressings of Hunky Dory and Low. I have a first pressing of Another Green World coming in soon too. I'm starting to understand the placebo effect of listening to them, but holy shit they're so cool. " Except that Another Green World should be coming in tomorrow morning. It has some lost sound on Over Fire Island, but at least it's none of my favorite tracks.

RUN AROUND THE HOUSE LIKE NAAAAAAAATURE BOOOOOOOOOOY

I have like <150 plays of Elvis, so... Yeah.

Any certain albumsi should get?

I've never listened to Frank Zappa.

I thought that was Scarecrow..

Too bad STSOC is their worst album.

Also, if you like good Drone Metal, you should listen to the Melvins. Boris got their name from one of their songs.
