Sometimes we all need a break from what's on MTV,you know? It doesn't mean you're a geek! I listen to the classics sometimes. In fact,my very first concert was our local philharmonic orchestra. I don't listen to jazz as much. Genre-wise,it depends on how I'm feeling that day. I really can't limit myself to one type of music (Do I really give off that pop-o-holic vibe?).I don't know if I'll be going to any concerts this summer. I'm actually trying to look for a better job. People I like barely come here anyways. They just skip right over to Toronto or Detroit. :0( Am I a writer? Nah,not really. I used to write random fanfiction with a friend of mine back in high school. Basically we just wrote parodies about movies and shows we liked. I wish I saved all the stories we did,lol. Soooo what about you? Are you doing anything interesting this summer? :D

I'm getting that,too. The "super" part may be all the Bloc Party (and maybe Friendly Fires?). I thought the foreign pop, R&B and all the random bands I come across should have thrown it off somehow. I don't know how last.fm is working this anymore. But seriously-I thought I had a mixed-up taste in music. I'm seeing classical composers and artists my parents grew up listening to in your library! That's pretty cool. You don't see a lot of 20-somethings liking that kind of music now. :0)

You might also try Camille Saint-Saens, I like this composer a lot as well. :-)

He is!! Satie has inspired me since I was 15 years old :-) I used to go to the beach with my mp3 player and listen to his compositions and get in a total trance. He is definitely one of my favourite composers of all times. xxx

aaah nice ! i missed cut copy last time they came..i'll need a review ! i heard about M.I.A. yes, she said first that she'll be back to arts (she was an arts student in college), like she wants to be a painter/artist again..then that she's totally done with music. it sucks really but im slowly getting into other artists so hmm it's gonna be okay i guess. saw the bloody beetroots + the toxic avenger last thursday..boy, this was sick ! i still have my bruises..and those australian guys actually are just crazy people having fun in paris, they didnt really hurt me..they were so high like they didnt even notice what they were doing, pushing others etc..i saw them again that night, and we had lotta fun. I had a vry nice time during BBS but toxic avenger was like uuuhh ??? not good at all. next time i'll tell you about n*e*r*d, seeing them in a couple of weeks woowoo ! btw...BLOC PARTY's new songs are like HUGE !
