* what I meant is that most cheaper headphones sound average on low volume and only sound worse louder because of distortion and with this headphone (plus cd/flac) I have not gotten to that point yet where it distorts :)

:D Hehehe....I love them too :) You really start noticing the immense clarity once you play some good flac a bit louder. Without amping (and even with a cheaper amp like my fiio) it can sometimes still sound a bit thin on lower volumes. Thing is though, because of the very low distortion levels, it is far less exhausting to listen to music at high volume. I'm gonna try some of those 80s synths stuff you've been listening too...loved the DRIVE soundtrack ;) Been listening to another type of bass heavy music; doom metal :3 If ya wanna have/or got some recommendations please tell me ;)

OH OH I've been meaning to ask you, I'm trying to get more into electronic music. The stuff I like so far is more on the ambient, borderline post-rock side of things. What do you recommend? Dovah recommended The Album Leaf, do you second that?
