yeah man death magnetic's production was shite, it made it a worse album. Though I like it I am a bit of a metallica fanboy I guess; I don't dislike any of their albums. Like St.Anger just needed a bit more variation I think and different drum tone lol and it would be pretty good maybe. As for this year, yeah I heard Mastodon its good. New BTBAM is a similar vein I think: a band stretching out of what they normally do and coming out with something great. I think best album of the year would be new Anaal Nathrakh or the new Nile. New Behemoth is good too so maybe that. Its been a good year, hard to single one out!

Hey man, yeah it is! I wasn't sure at first, but after the first few listens its just been really growing on me! My favourites are probably Human Strain, Hate Worldwide and World Painted Blood at the moment, but its consistently awesome to be honest! What about you?
