I can't play the piano if I am drunk. Then again, I'm not as talented as Gram or Warren. I never sing. I can't carry a tune at all, even sober. I wish I had a piano now. I'd love to play. The last stuff I played was Elton John about 18 years ago. I still know how to play. It's like riding a bicycle. You never forget how, even if you are really rusty and need practice.

Saw David Bowie headline after Nine Inch Nails played. I was disappointed because I wanted to hear Bowie's older stuff, but he played stuff from the 90s and only one song from the 80s. He did a show about 1-2 years later where he played all the classics, but I did not go. I was disappointed when I saw him.

It's funny because Gram Parsons could also sing fine when he was drunk. He sounds drunk when he talks on the live album, but he sounds fine when he sings. It sounds like Warren Zevon was similar.
