Music you have in common includes Beirut, First Aid Kit, Iron & Wine, Efterklang and Fionn Regan. I think you should consider coming to the gig I'm putting on in September. http://www.last.fm/event/1606662+Carefully+Planned+presents... xx

hello there! sorry I neglected to reply to you all that time ago, it was very rude of me. One quick look at your facebook has shown that we've got, what i thought to be, the least likely mutual friend in the world. David is an old, lovely friend of mine and I miss him dearly. How're you anyway? Still planning on moving to leeds? xx

well flaming lips are supposed to always put on a great show. i can't see joanna newsom being great on a festival stage - i saw her in a 150 capacity theatre in february which just won't compare. and girls, wild beasts and neon indian should be brill.

Hey! Sorry for taking ages to reply to you, been travelling across the continent for the last month and just got back today! Been amazing. I live just next to Leeds in Bradford, but yeah, there are plenty of open mic nights in Leeds, I'll get you a list of venues some time if you like! I'm gonna be moving to Leeds with my band mate in September too. xx

Just noticed your comment. Thanks. Going by your library i'd definitley hire you as a DJ. There's so many amazing bands and artists, but it's still hard to get anywhere close to Beirut i think.

Also, I see you've been listening to Nick Drake <3. If you've not heard it yet. Bryter Layter is a wonderful album.

Hmm. Of late, I've been really enjoying Arvo Part, not exactly new, but very good minimal style classical stuff. Other than that, Marmaduke Duke might be worth checking out. They're a crazy Biffy side project, some of it's like a dancier Biffy. I'm ok, feeling a bit under the weather just now, but I'll live. Yourself? x

ATP? Oh god, I've wanted to go for years! I was even meant to be going to last year's Explosions in the Sky curated one, but I had two sets of chalet buddies pull out on me, so I ended up not being able to go. Yann Tiersen is doing some UK tour dates anyway, 10th of May at the Duchess in York. I'm good thanks, I just heard Bon Iver for the first time the other day, for some reason I was expecting him to have a deeper voice, but I've no idea what made me think that, haha. How are things with you? xx
