Yes, the title is Executive Director for Script Acquisiton and Development. All of the music is outsourced and, fortunately, I don't have anything to do with that.

Yeah, it was Eyecame but I deleted it. Sometimes I go through spells where Last.FM takes up too much CPU, and since I produce music on my computer, I just get sick of the scrobbler popping up every 2 seconds! But for now, I'm on here again :) Well, that depends! What genre have you been most interested in lately? I could probably come up with something you haven't heard of :D

I have written scripts but none have yet to be produced. No, my staff and I read scripts that are submitted to the company from agents and others and make recommendations as to whether we should bid for them. Once a script is accepted, it usually needs rewriting so I'l hire another writer to do that. Once that is done, we need to develop a shooting script, hire directors, actors, etc. and I follow the project through all those processes. It's not as romantic as people think. It's a lot of work and, often, a lot of frustration. But when it works, it's magical.

Oh, no. LFM searched my library of stuff I've already listened to :)

lol. I work for an large film company based here in London. We also have offices in New York and Los Angeles. I supervise the script acquisition and development units for the company.

I love to travel and do it every chance I get. Jakarta was much like other large, crowded cities like Hong Kong and Rio de Janeiro. The inner city was beautiful and full of tall shiny buildings, but as I went further from the city center the standard of living seemed to deteriorate, the canals had garbage in them and people would ask you for money. There were also many beggars in Bali, especially around the tourist destinations. But in Bali, you could go to the centre of the island and throughout the day all you hear is the wind blowing through the rice fields or a distant gamelon. They were very different environments--but I liked them both.

Actually, I was in Jakarta for 2 days and then flew to Bali and was in Ubud and other parts of the island for 2 weeks. And your English is very good--better than most Brits. ;)

Cheers mate. Whereabouts in Indonesia do you live?
