Oh I know, dude. I'm seeing them tonight with GZA and a killer group called sweet valley. Side project of the lead singer of wavves; check out their new mixtape called Eternal Champ. Their first album is also solid. But yeah, the only group that comes to mind that is similar to BH is Portugal. The Man. Really fucking good group, check out the albums Amercian Ghetto, The Satanic Satanist, and In the Mountain in the cloud. I'll get back to you on the stuff you've recommended, thanks for all of that.

Haha well don't get the wrong idea; not many good shows come up to Northern California. Completely skip over it in favor of SoCal. Lots of teasing with almost every group coming to the state, yet they're still all a 8+ hour drive for me. But hell, Alaska is goddam fucking beautiful. You gotta check out an album called "shades" by Ackryte, "burning bush supper club" by bear hands, "LP" by Discovery, Elaquent, Blu & Exile, Georgia Anne Muldrow's "Seeds" (produced by Madlib), and Jonti. You have a crazy good grip on killer hip/glitch hop shit, as well as other stuff, so let me know if you ever think I'm missing anything

you grab any Teebs yet then? Collections 01 is a must. also, Burial / Massive Attack's collaboration LP is great. King Midas Sound is a bit bass heavy but is also fairly mellow and the main vocalist sounds a lot like Massive Attack's vocalists.
