Do you think the scrobbles stopped because they passed away or because they stop using the service? Like, at least half of the accounts I find from comments pre-2010 are no longer scrobbling, statistically speaking the majority of which have not passed away in that time.

Interesting. I joined in 2019 and never had any problems. I use it only to track my music and sometimes read comments on songs/albums/artists. I don't really need updates or moderators to look over the forum side of things, so I always found it strange why someone would manually disconnect what would otherwise be a basically permanent linking to their music streaming service of choice. I've been on Spotify since 2019 and don't see myself switching anytime soon, maybe never.

Ah, forgot about accidental disconnecting. I think mine has been good for about 6 years now without requiring a re-connect.
