Been a while again, cos life is still (kinda) kicking me in the nuts haha. so I listened to some Ice Cube back in May, and I have to say, you're probably the first person who's introduced to me the parallels of 90's rap & hip-hop instrumentals to 90's industrial electronic music. I was pleasantly surprised by Death Certificate. I haven't gone too far into Danger's solo work but from what I've heard it's pretty mediocre compared to the main MBM discography. I'd like to recommend you an artist called The Bug, and his album Angels and Devils. It's an interesting dip into more recent UK hip-hop production, as The Bug is a grime/hip-hop producer but there's a lot of dark ambient/electronica elements too

Hey man, late reply (had my undergrad finals) yeah we have surprisingly low comp given our interest in IDM/electronic stuff, interesting that. Checked some of your SC stuff out, and followed you back. Interesting IDM/dubstep and half-life sci-fi influences! You're quite the half-life fan haha, one of my best friends is pretty into the lore, aesthetic and whatnot. Played HL2 episode 1 and 2 years ago, and blue shift, fond memories and definitely a very profound sci-fi series. The only reason I stick around on last.fm is the archiving feature, I just love looking back at what I was listening to in the past, seeing how it has/hasn't progressed. Other than that, it's a shame what's happened to this site. Amen to your username 👌
