It's the same here actually, you would also laugh if I knew how to translate these lyrics, but those words are so primitive you couldn't put them in any other language. :D I guess it's actually better situation here - our main and biggest squares are full of metalheads, rockers, sometimes friendly punkers and more rarely skinheads. Chavs (let's call them that way) are just trespassing. :D

This country is the least musically advanced country in the world, says I. You tell me how could it be, when its people invented so called turbo-flok genre, which is a mixture between Balkans folk music and, well, let's say house? Fucked up voices, harmonica, horns, some electronic shit alongside it, explicitly rude lyrics, with no artistry whatsoever. Fame for controversy - that's the genre the most of people like in this country actually. Example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0dFKwChzy0A I just know few people that are studying at electro-technical schools that are in love with their sounds (yes, kraftwerks songs are the anthems for computerlovers) and a few people that aren't, but highly respects them for everything they do so originally.

They're actually not really underrated. They were gaining a lot of popularity when they first appeared on the scene - they were hit! Now, after almost 30 years, I have a feeling that their popularity is coming back again. Only some of the people can't understand krautrock. House is easier for them. because people are used to it. (I hate, hate, hate house.) It's like Christians and death metal. :D Where did you see them? I saw them live on the Exit Festival in my country. It's absolutely different feeling seeing their fantastic performance than just to listen to their music. They changed the way I looked at them (positively), they changed the way I look at the genres that were born out of them.

this is really the first time i saw that someone (except for me) outs all of those rockers in the same sentence with kraftwerk. awesome. :D thanks btw, your taste is great too!
