Killer Mike's album did it for me last year. One of the biggest surprises and definitely Killer Mike's magnum opus thus far. Made me a fan instantly. It also put me on to El-P, too, although he's still growing on me as an MC. He's one of those ultra-lyrical dudes in which you really gotta examine and pay attention to what he says. At least to me he is. One album that I thought was overlooked last year was Gangrene's Vodka and Ayahuasca. The production on that is NUTS. Alchemist and Oh No are entertaining to listen to on the mic as well.

Oh not too bad. Enjoying Christmas break before heading back to college on the 7th. Got another year before graduation hopefully. So, 2012. Not a bad year hip-hop wise, huh?

Hopefully it won't be long before they get a proper release, after all the BMSR album is actually done recording and their kickstarter that they got to fund it's release was very succesful (they raised twice as much as they needed before they hit their original deadline :P) so who knows, but yeah I do hope it sees the light of day

Yeah, that, and Lamborghini Meltdown are the only 2 up so far, though El Camino hasn't been given a proper release yet, as far as I know it's only on their soundcloud so far

Yeah, it's one of my more fav Tobacco things, just wondering what Tobacco's next release will be like, probably won't be for a little while though considering he's got Demon Queen going and he's currently organising stuff for BMSR's new Cobra Juicy album :P

El-P needs to do a proper collab with Tobacco, since that suggests it would be a beautiful union... though I know Tobacco has now got a purely rap focused side project called Demon Queen with that Zackey Force Funk that he did the track Lamborghini Meltdown with, hopefully something nice will come out of that project since I was rather fond of that track
