Yeah, I can see how you'd prefer Either/Or. Figure 8 and beyond start to get less folksy and more experimental, though they're all great albums. I recommend you snag Roman Candle and his self-titled next if you really like Either/Or.

Yea, Octavarium was what got me into them also. Although, it could've been almost any of them. There's only two albums by them that I don't like very much. "When Dream and Day Unite" and "Falling into Infinity". So I wouldn't recommend them unless you really get into Dream Theater and want to hear their whole discography.

Sweet. If you like Octavarium enough and want another album, try Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence. That's my personal favorite. Plus, with (about to be) ten albums it might be tough figuring out which album to get next. So I thought I'd recommend some stuff.
