Wouldn't the additional exposure you would receive be worthwhile for you? I have not held back and listen to music on Spotify, PandoraOne, Calm Radio, and iTunes as well as Lastfm. For me they each have something special about themselves which I have come to appreciate and love. I also got to chat with Moya and the rest of the band for a few minutes, get their autographs and an individual photo with her. I have had the pleasure of knowing him and have has his full band come to our University to present a full concert. I love Pat Metheny and all the varied Ensembles he performs in. A good friend of mine had Pat as his roommate in College (way back when). I attend the Metheny Concerts when they are nearby.
