Hello. I'd love to claim that I thought of you while fisting myself in an ecstasy of sorrow and oneness with the world, but I was just listening to Communist Daughter when I remembered that I'd seen that you liked it. In the Aeroplane Over the Sea is my favourite song on the album, although it's hard to choose between that and Oh, Comely. They're all good, but the lyric "How strange it is to be anything at all" always destroys me.

And wanting something warm and moving, Bends towards herself; the soothing Proves that she must still exist. She moves herself about her fist

Ah, it's ok - I'll let you off.. That doesn't sound like much fun... When do you get your results?? What did you write your dissertation on?? In the countryside?? Where do you live?? I'm all good - nothing much seems to change really.. :-( I'm going to the arcade fire thing in hyde park the end of this month.. I think they've released more tickets recently - should be a good day.. You've got to spend your money on something! Might as well be gigs! :-) Nothing else lined up really... One of the guy's I work with is trying to get me to go to some electro thing but not sure it's really my cup of tea so to speak... I went to Tallest Man on Earth last month - that was reallllyy good!

Bit of a last minute sort of a girl I take it then.. haha. How does that work then - can you re-do it or something if you failed..? The job itself can be a bit dull at times but I work with some good people so we have a laugh... Yeah I know how that feels - so you work part time aswell then? Umm I have tickets to Tallest Man on Earth in may and Arcade Fire/Mumford & Sons in june. Thats about it at the moment..

No it's not at all bad - just a lot more chilled out. Seems to have a big country influence too.. I've not seen them before. Someone I know saw them Bristol last week and said they were really good and played a lot of the older stuff - so sounds promising.. Yeah he's definitely worth a listen.. Off to see him in May - booked two tickets in hope I'd find someone I know who likes him.. Looks like Im going on my own at the moment.. Oh dear! :-(

Certainly am.. Looking forward to it.. Not as keen on the new album though- Picaresque all the way for me.. Think it's Blind Pilot supporting from what I've heard.. Have you ever listened to The Tallest Man on Earth? It's a lot of finger picking stuff on the acoustic but is very good - you should have a listen..

Hahaha, yeah I guess I'm pretty glad nothing is documented of my tastes at 15. A lot of the visuals were pretty weird, though nothing was more ace than the cranes in the steelyard footage! I kept having my head turned by the sheer number of people who tried getting up to the balcony over and over again, only to be thrown out by burly security men. I also spend an unhealthy amount of time watching the violinist, she was probably the coolest woman I've ever seen. I maybe slightly fell in love. Interesting Flickr photos by the way, I browsed until I stumbled upon some ungodly behemoth of a spider and had to throw my monitor out of the window in sheer panic.

Hello! Yeah, nice charts indeed, it always warms the heart to see someone who has been using last.fm for so long. I thought GYBE were fantastic, really interesting venue too. I have to admit I was desperate for them to play Moya and was a little disappointed when it didn't happen, but to see them live full stop was a pretty fantastic experience. I think they're the one band I always truly wanted to see in the flesh. Excellent stuff.

Erm they were playing some little place in Manchester, think it was called the Mojo or something, Krug was even hanging around the audience afterwards, I should have had the nerve to start a conversation with him as opposed to staring from a distance- relying mainly on telepathy as a means of communication. Yep, you have a great time too, even with your stewarding restrictions! I'll come say hello should my blood alcohol levels exceed those of my social awkwardness ones haha.

ah, well i'm determined to see Wolf Parade this time around. Went to see them like 5 years ago when they were the third support band and only got about 15 minutes which was annoying. They should be good though having seen Sunset Rubdown live not too long ago, Spencer Krug is a god!

Ah, well you're definitely going to love it, i've been the last four years, totally hooked, refuse to even acknowledge other festivals any more ha. Yeh a few clashes sadly; Wolf Parade with Here We Go Magic (heartbreaking), Modest Mouse with Plants and Animals, Yo La Tengo n Black Mountain, and then The Antlers with Phil Selway. Quite a few, but i'll cope. Any clashes for you? In my giddy state i've been doing some serious Spotifying trying to catch up on the acts i've never even heard of, must be cutting edge at all times, sad really :/

I wasn't expecting Microphones In The Trees at all, though my brother tells me they perform it quite often. I would of loved to of seen Ring Them Bells, which is probably my favourite ASMZ track! I'm totally jealous of your job by the way...I want to play with intestines :(

No worries...Yeah I thought it was awesome, they did a few tracks I wasn't expecting, and I loved Efrims banter..Nearly missed my last train home and got stuck in London, but otherwise a good night! Ah, that sounds cool, though the way you put it sounds to me like the intestines alive, conjured up a great mental image...

Heh, well it's certainly not a regular thing! Leaving early usually equals a busier day to get in the position where I can leave early...Saying that, I'm not doing great so far...So you work in a lab? That could either be incredibly interesting, or incredibly boring...

Oh snap, I'm procrastinating like no other today! My brother caught their 13 Blues for 13 Moons tour, said it was awesome! At least I'm getting away from work early to catch a train into London...

YoOo Finn, what is good in UK? If I could make some recommendations for you I'd suggest Damnation by Opeth, Six Organs of Admittance and Nick Drake. ;-)

good for you. their pc will probably crash, which will cause someone in the audience to say, they should a mac and then someone of the band says "every fucking time someone says that"...

i love the small towns out there. unless there is a difference between the small towns/little villages. i dunno. i watch top gear a lot and thats honestly how i've seen most of europe/the uk. lame i know. hahaha. sounds like a good place though. i'm good though, about to go to the gym when i get off work. it's too cold/my bike is broken so i haven't been able to ride, so i am trying to not get completely out of shape so when its warm out again i don't have to waste time getting back into bike riding form. haha.

salt lake it is! guess your memory isnt as bad as you thought. i don't ski or snowboard... hahaha. i'm boring. it's a super expensive hobby. i prefer to stick with the less expensive ones like... watching sports. 2012 is in london right? so your hometown is london or a suburb of london? weather is an easy topic... because it happens daily... haha. also is an easy way to strike up conversation with someone. : ).
