Yeh setlist was pretty similar at both, but at the birmingham gig she played Strange Mercy which I love and Your Lips are Red which is amazing so the gig ended up being better :-)

Oh yeah, that St Vincent show was special. I've seen her twice this year yay, so great both times.

Yeah the UK is pretty fortunate with gigs seeing that most bands will come tour here, even though i like to moan when they don't come near me but i guess i can't really moan at all considering how much of the world doesn't get to see the bands they love. So it feels quite lucky really. Ah man Deerhoof are so awesome!

Hum, bandas parecidas com Cardiacs? Creio que as que escutei até agora The Monsoon Bassoon e Perhaps Contraption, são as mais parecidas,embora elas não tenham aquele toque "pop punk" do Cardiacs...

i think it's a bit weak man, it doesn't give the same sensations comparable to de-loused. it doesn't have dark imagery like we are used to, i listened to five tracks i think and most of it just sounds like omar's solo project. i miss frances, i miss de-loused, i even miss goliath man..

SIm Sim... Escutei 11 vezes já, mas continuarei escutando até o Brilho bater ou afundar de vez... No Mais, adorei AEGIS (E meio que me lembra o de-loused), The Malkin Jewel, Molochwalker e se IN ABSENTIA fosse mais coesa, seria a melhor coisa do disco. In Absentia de 04:58 em diante = COISA DE DEUS !

Sinceramente ? Não !!! Não engoli esse experimentalismo todo e só curti de verdade 4 músicas. Pode ser que com o tempo a impressão mude, afinal, Mars Volta é Mars Volta... Mas no momento, decepção resume....
