it's a bit too ghibli-like for my tastes, the colour scheme is also a bit too colourful for shinkai albeit still pretty. Shinkai's at his best with his more 'forever alone stuff' :P

yeah, man, they ruled. I picked up the Faustian EP, and I picked up the Taurus record, too. I really enjoyed them.

Oh yeah, the last track is definitely my favourite. I'm not sure, I haven't really tried to properly get into punk, but all the stuff on Rock Dream is awesome. The stuff on Pink is great too. Just Abondoned myself is amazing :v

Which version of Vein did you like best? I've heard the hardcore one but I'm not much into hardcore punk stuff...(great taste by the way!)

they played Missing Pieces AND Aileron! Boris seem to hit michigan every tour they do, though, so you might just get to see them next year.
