Well, I have no option, but metal is not that popular among the Hispanic community in New York/New Jersey :(, there is just few clubs where you can listen to metal, and most of them are only classic bands, so I have no option to go with my friends whenever they play, and deal with the music and the people until they finish :S. And yeah, I won't lie to you, I used to listen to Nu Metal, Hardcore, Punk Rock and metalcore too, but I grew tired of the same BS with those bands. I enjoy more of a powerful solo. and the melodies of the guitar even when it might sound a little retarded :). And besides music, I like to read a lot of mythology, ancient history and science fiction. But currently, I'm getting some interest in Magic, Occult Science and Religion, but I still have a lot more to learn about those subjects.

I am ashamed to say, Yes, most of the time I listen to metal, in special Folk, Power or Symphonic which are my fave genres, but lately I've been listening to a lot of extreme metal in special Black and Death Metal. The only places I listen something other than metal are the local clubs, my friends and I usually go to chill, most of the time to see local bands, and most of the time they play Rock, Rock/Pop and stuff like that :S. Is not that I don't like other kind of music, on the contrary I give credits when a song is well done and performed, but I enjoy more a powerful guitar and/or drum solo ;).

You are lucky, you get to enjoy good folk metal in europe, In USA, those bands don't come that often, I was waiting a long time to see Korpiklaani live, and finally I got the chance. And last year Pagan was as good as this one, Eluveitie, Ensiferum are two of my favorite bands, so I had a lot of fun watching them live :)

kann ich mir denken, wenn man das jedes jahr macht. okay mittlerweile wirst du denk ich mal auch auf eigene faust unterwegs sein und net immer nur bei deinen verwanten rumgammeln...da kann man dann ja ein wenig mehr von dem land entdecken. omg langsam bin ich genervt, dummes geschwätz hier vor meinem fenster oO
