Listening to Silver and Gold, checked in "the midnight clear" shoutbox, noticed you made a comment in 2012. Hopped to your profile and we're listening to the same album at the same time? What are the chances of that???

Hey its no problem. glad to hear from you though. and yeah its a slow grower for me but i am really enjoying the deep qualities to it. Burn the Witch and Ful Stop are amazing though.

I finally got around to listening to The Nationals Boxer record. I liked it but it did take a while before anything really stuck with me. Apartment story and Ada and Slow Show are gorgeous though. And i like some of the darker themes and sounds.

The Modest Mouse is great - has some brilliant songs and some duds, although Carrie & Lowell is wooing me more.

Same here. Sauna is top-tier Phil for me at this point, and I've always loved Phil's production style just as much as his songwriting. Billy Talent is one of those bands for me as well. I'm trying to get more St. Vincent into my rotation. She's just so good, but It's hard balancing new music vs already loved music. Gotta take a break from new music just so I can play the shit out of my favorite bands again for a few months.

Heard really good things about Boxer but i shall purchase it at the end of next week. Been listening to Alligator recently it took me a while to really enjoy it but it has some really fun and energetic lyrics.

Thanks for showing me the Afraid of everyone Video link a little while ago. I bought the High Violet Record a few days ago and loved it on a first listen. Afraid of everyone is possibly one of my favourite songs in a long long time.

I noticed you like post-rock and post-hardcore, have you listened to nay post-rock inspired skramz or emo? Stuff like City Of Caterpillar, Circle takes The Square, or Suffocate For Fucks Sake? If not check it out if it sounds like something you might be interested in.

Damn you weren't kidding when you said full out Fantanocore. I really dug the latest RTJ album definitely one of my favourite hip hop albums of the year. But I found this year kind of disappointing for hip hop in the sense that all the stuff I was looking forward too wasnt great, the new milo album was disappointing, young fathers was disappointing, Shabazz Palaces was disappointing. But there was a lot of good hip hop that I wasnt expecting, Ratking, Mick Jenkins, Freddie Gibbs etc. What specific bands were you getting into in 90's post-hardcore. I'm a huge skramz fan but never got as into post-hardcore.

You"ll have a amazing time she always delivers in terms of stage presence and a amazing setlist Let me know how it goes. I love this live version of graceless http://youtu.be/ack4cJry0as It took me a while to soak in all the deep lyrics and sound on Trouble will find me but once it clicked i understood why people like them so much. But thank you I"ll let you know what i think of them in a little while.

If you get chance to see her live Make sure to Send any letters/Gifts to her merch staff since they are friends in real life and she will 100% Get them since a few people gave letters to her Staff and Annie got them all. I saw her play on the 22nd of October this year in my hometown in a small venue it was my favourite Concert from this year. I watched a live stream of her play Austin and Paris festivals Looked like a great atmosphere. Did you see the Sparrow/Pieta Preview video she released a few days ago?

I"ll give a couple of listens and see if it grows on me. Speaking of St Vincent she said thank you on Twitter to all the people who sent her letters while on tour and she actually read the letter i gave to her last month

I am pretty excited to see what Sparrow And Pieta will sound like A lot! Considering how unique Krokodil and Grot sound.. She played pieta live when i saw her in my home town just over two weeks ago which was a Really solid setlist. Just wish she would put out the Live version of Your lips are red its a intense and amazing way to finish a Concert.

Thanks, I hope it's not a red herring, because it makes me kind of hopeful for a new album from him :) Haha yeah, Prince Johnny is an enigma of a song. It's not my favourite St. Vincent song, nor my favourite on the album, yet I can't seem to stop playing it. When I saw that I already had so many plays for it i was so confused lol. That song has some sort of strange hold over me.
