hey dude, i dig Midnight Odyssey a lot, particularly the album 'Firmament'. thanks for the recommendation. I reminds me a little of what it might sound like if the 'doomgaze' group Nadja made black metal. Nadja also uses white-noise to try to create molten soundscapes. i think the analogy i was entertaining my head with was something like "Midnight Odyssey is like if Velvet Cacoon and Nadja had sex on LSD, conceiving a child they subsequently strapped to a rocket and launched toward the sun." best i can do anyway...

maybe you could recommend me some black metal i haven't heard that's more on the soundscapey trance-inducing vibe? Right now nothing beats Fauna for me.
