I'm downloading the first album as I type this. Recently I've been listening to the latest Caribou album, the latest A Winged Victory for the Sullen, a bit of Sharon Van Etten, Chromatics ummmmm the cure as always. I think the first two are from this year. I'm thinking about giving Public Image Ltd another chance too. You? I really like that spoon album. Oh and Geoff Samples bird song recordings, I'm sooooo hip and with it!

Well I gave them a listen and time to grow on me, but they still left me a bit cold. I am however embarking on a bit of a 90's binge. Low, Destroyer, Yo La Tengo and of course Bonnie "Prince" Billy.

Och, I do love the Raveonettes! I will have to check out Spook School, I need to add something to my current diet of Smog and Bird Calls.

I mis spoke. They are incredible, when we had that conversation I'd only heard the ep, which didn't grab me, but the album is all kind of awesome. I have tickets to see them in May. Going on my own as Kieran refuses to go and watch them.

Ah, cool, I'm glad you managed to sort something! I'd really like to come along, yeah, drinks and weeping would be good/sad! I knew they were playing there but I don't know much about it beyond that - from what I can gather it's over 3 days (Thursday to Saturday) and is a pretty bloody good line-up though! Twlight Sad, Los Campesinos!, BFB, The Leisure Society... not sure I can afford it though sadly. Are you tempted?
