I loved that so much you know thinking about what should be the first song how it should start. i remember i gave this girl i used to like a cd with just one MXPX song the cover they did of AHA she wasnt really into guitar music so i wrote the lyrics on a piece of paper. so that she would really really understand what i meant hehe :) the thing she asked me was why there was only one song, almost making me feel guitly that i wasted all that cd space hehe she didnt understand the concept of mixtapes :) we should actaully do it cause it would be so much fun and the postage rates are good cause we r in uk. like you i havent made one for a friend in ages since mp3s came.

Wes Anderson i have never heard of him. i will check his new movie out. ghost world i love movies like that where like in the real world some things are left unsaid,undone and unexplained. maybe thats why we love punk aswell its the idea of a song or melody sloppily played but with emotions. yea i guess music has always been there. i am open to film recommendations aswell. maybe i just don't know right ones to watch. most of the time the kinda movies that i like are the ones where its about normal day to day things. like that movie slums of beverley hills or ghostworld things about people and normal everyday lives. i really don't like big production budget movies where it looks like they gathered 1000 extras to impress the audience. recommend me some that i can watch.

just clicking random videos on youtube, i have found some great music that way :) when ever i find something nice i just save it to fav. i just love the lo fi nature of some these pop punk bands.perfect for pop punk i think. i would like to see worldinferno live aswell, i think the vocalist is very talented , i like how he is so dynamic but without sounding like hes trying to do too much just for the sake of doing too much. can u recommend me some punk bands that sounds or kinda sounds like Depressing Claim that you know of.

so true :) i always think how atleast stuff like Duran Duran an actual band with great songs, compare that to any pop music now. they still sound so good.i remember reading an interview of world/inferno friendship society few years ago, can u recommend me any album of theirs i should check out.

I pretty much dislike almost all the modern indie bands just everything about them sounds not genuine. And the clean production ruins it for me aswell.

queers-love songs for the retarded must be song for song one the strongest albums i have heard. instant catchy but not cheap catchy like some of the other pop punk bands. i dont know how to explain its the real thing i think :)

it would be very high i think cause i love so many bands from your list but i have just been actively using last fm for few months and all my plays are songs i put into my fone which i use as my mp3 player. i love the Descendents. their song ' get the time' breaks my heart everytime, in a good way :) another one of those songs that makes me realise why i fell in love with punk. and yea i agree graves atleast is listenable but DK without Jello feels like a tribute band. any new bands you are really into nowdays ?
