Also, I am going through an out-dated blogspot whose content is being updated anymore since 2017, but they have an insanely big catalog and it's all alternative music. Lots of post-hardcore and pop-punk and "emo-core" releases. I'm discovering so much new stuff.. I'm just going by their list. So far I've heard some nice songs but not a full album. I am doing this in the hopes that I may find a similar album to Boys Like Girls' debut. Like, the only releases that I download are from 2000 - 2010, anything after I just skip. I've only waded through 20 bands and that's really just 0.1-0.5/1% of what's out there.

As for "best" new music [I'll talk about 2018 and 2019 releases]...... Issues single from their upcoming album which will be released on May 3rd! I also really enjoyed State Champs' Living Proof, which in my opinion far surpasses their earlier works. I've listened to Crystal Ball 243 times in the last 365 days, and I haven't listened to that song in months now. I also liked "Disconnected" by Sleep on It. (This is a single!) Also, Tyler Carter dropped his debut album which I really enjoyed. Slaves released an acoustic EP a few months ago, but unfortunately they kicked out Jonny Craig. Tonight Alive's Underworld is also a solid 2018 album; female-fronted pop-punk! One of the songs on there was nostalgia-inducing and I was thinking of my high school crush, even though the song is about the singer's loved ones who passed away. The song is called "Last Light." Also, Michael Bohns of Issues - who was, as you know, kicked out, also - is in a new band called WildHeart, it's r&b/post-hardcore.

yup! hahaha 'first child astronaut' .. well hey, dreams are there to dream about, right? well.. kudos to the 4 year old me? i got slapped in the face by the government's hand. i choose for nursing because you get to see new people everyday plus you work in a big building, so you have a lot of freedom. with other jobs you're stuck seeing the same people and i cant deal with that really. the screw up was that there were two subjects we had in 7th grade for just half a year. first half was german, which i had an 8 for.. 2nd half was music, which i had a 4 for. at the end of the year, literally the last day of school, they said "well a lot of people didnt do well on german, so we decided that german wont count as subject anymore, meaning my grade point average went from a 7,1 (which was a minimum you needed to get into the highest level next year) to a 7,0. but music still counted as subject! i lost all my motivation after that. i was a really smart kid and i still am but i am too lazy
