Ehhhh long time no chat Dee Double Oh! How ya been? Any stuff you wanna recommend? Dunno if you're into industrial, electronica or punk or anything, buuuuut..... if you want, my new kick lately has been Left Spine Down. They're from Vancouver Canada & they describe themselves as "Cyberpunk". They put on a great live show (I've seen em 4 times now) if you can find any video of them. Give em a shot, lemme know what ya think. =)

I just won tickets to DL last week and it was a wicked show. Mind you it wasn't promoted properly by the venue (as usual), and only about 40 people showed up altogether. Even the shitty local opening acts left in a big storm sayin "WE'RE NOT PLAYIIN WITH NO ONE HERE, F**K THIS BULLS**T" and they're not even anything special at all, just some dudes thinkin they're making music on their Macs in a basement. LOL... But the cool thing was DL STILL PLAYED. Now that's sportsmanship!! Haha

Nice, glad to hear you like it. He's a great artist in my opinion, and even live you can tell he's so into it, just so much *real* energy, which makes the crowd vibe too, right? Plus he loves his fans, comes out and chats after each show & all that, and is super down to Earth. I know what you mean on the music gathering (lol)... I just had to reformat and lost most of what I had... workin on gettin it back now though. Any suggestons I should look for?

Oh shiiiiit there's *tons* up here, Canada actually kicks ass for Hip Hop (especially way back when)... the main one I'd recommend is DL Incognito. He's still around, started in about 2001-2002... Then you've got the Rascalz. They're not together anymore, but they were great for sure, especially the albums Cash Crop or Really Livin'. Ghetto Concept had some good tunes... Choclair, Saukrates, Maestro (Fresh Wes, waaaay back in the day)... a lot of these might have had just a few classic tracks. Dan-e-o for instance, he pretty much just had one good song, and it's called "Dear Hip Hop". Same with Wio-K, it's called "Sunlight". Kardinal Offishal had a good one with Jully Black called "What It Takes"... these are all oldies though!

Ahh those people dunno what's goin on, do they? hahah... Seriously though, even your stuff that isn't hip hop is great, you're all over the place with genres, which is AWESOME... can't limit yourself to just a few, ya know? Variety is where it's at *for sure*. =D
