Word! I've recently been saturating on a couple of tracks by King Mez and Commissioner Gordon: 'So long' and 'Nowhere to go' are both pretty cool. Pete Rock's been on my playlists recently, too: 'What you waiting for' and 'Smooth sailing' deserve much airtime. Pete and Roy Ayers were doing an EPIC gig this month, but I hadn't the means to indulge myself.. You'll want to have a look at Max Tannone's mashup albums: Mos Dub and Dub Kweli. Oh, and 'The Sound of the Police' mixtape by Cut Chemist. Give that your full attention :D x

Nice.. If you're looking to get a bit more wordy after all those instrumentals, Pete Rock's 'Jump Around' remix is always worth a look. It takes some kind of genius to even equal (let alone marginally improve on?) the original.. Also 'The Rush' by J. Good. Beautiful production.. x

Kuroisoul's class! And pretty rare by the look of things.. I'm lost in new music at the mo! Quite into Billy Taylor, Me&You (a TM Juke project), Flowering Inferno, Soil & 'Pimp' Sessions, and some of Panacea's hip-hop. Oh, and Monty Alexander and Ernest Ranglin. Other than that, just been checking out tracks that Pete Rock's sampled. Eye-opening stuff, and nowhere near enough time to listen to them all!
