He’s really at his best live. I am a big fan of his “Adrenaline Baby” live album, but this one tops it. Those Smiths tracks are stellar, and his playing on them is better that the old Smiths days. He just proves that no one can play his songs like he does.

Agreed! I actually think his singing has improved quite a bit too and the band sound on top form throughout. The Bowie cover is great too.

Here’s a few recs for you: Female fronted catchy punky stuff: Panic Shack, Upchuck, Mannequin Pussy, The Bobby Lees, Sprints, Sweeping Promises Kinda quirky like Cheekface: The Bug Club, Guppy, Mary Shelly Stuff I think you might like because of what you listen to: Spiritual Cramp, Bad Nerves, Wine Lips, Radium Dolls Hopefully you’ll find something in those you like!

Thanks for the recommendation. Gave the album a couple of plays and have enjoyed it- a touch of that C86 jangle mixed with post punk. Good stuff. I always check out your wall to see what you are listening to, as I find great things to check out there. I often find we are checking out the same bands-new and old.

They are definitely the most exciting new band I’ve heard in a while- loving everything they’ve released as well as everything I’ve head on You Tube live recordings.
