Hello, that's a lovely invitation. I've been meaning to make it to Paper Dress for a long time. I live out west and going east is always a struggle for me! But I will make it some time and hopefully to one of your nights there. I like the concept very much. :-)

Hi, spotted you've seen Islet in the past - thought you might like to know they're back in London next month: http://www.last.fm/event/3183593

You'd be out of your mind not to consider a Faustian bargain if it involves Jeff Mangum in any sort of way! Still think it's a shambles that he's not coming up to Manchester though!

Getting there's not so much of a problem as I fly for free these days. Bristol is probably the closest airport i go to so an easy trip over on the train :) If i'm not working you can bet I'll be going! From Nottingham, living in Oxford right now for the next few days (been studying here for 15months), now i've got a few months of moving around to Exeter and Stockholm, and then I'm gonna be living in Belfast for probably a year :) Should be fun, never been! That's awesome you got to meet him! He certainly is a character, i remember sitting on the south bank of the Thames near the Design Museum when he walked by with his flame red hair, braces and jean shorts! Unfortunately when i started tugging at my friends shirt tails only one of them knew who he was... Best Patrick gig i went to on a smaller scale was in Boston, MA at the Middle East... it was incredible and everyone got up on the stage at the end to dance to his improv version of Blood Beat!!! AWESOME! :D

Yeah somehow I got the job! I wasn't very good in my interview. Don't know when I start, hope it's soon, I need to do something! I have fallen back in love with The Monitor in a big way so I REALLY hope I can make it! I can't take time off for the first 9 weeks after I start, so it'd better be on a day that makes it worth going to. How has the remnants of summer been? If I don't start work for a couple of weeks, I might try and fit in a trip to Cardiff, (funds permitting, of course)...xxxxxxxx

Hello darling. Thought I'd message you on here for a change, pretend it's last year! I am enjoying the Titus Andronicus domination on here of late, I hope I can make it to their Bristol gig and schedule a trip Cardiff soon! Would be lovely to see you, have some cider and have that shimmy in Clwb that never happened! xxxxxx

Babo, a Ty mieszkasz w UK?

Do you realise you've listened to Patrick Wolf 48 times more than I have listened to the Smiths? Obsessed much?
