On second thought, "fucking with people" is probably the most apt definition of "hosing" in the context of the song.

I also saw your Bonnie Prince question and I disagree with what alik has going on down there. I think it's better to define hosing as killing, not sexing. There's a brief interesting mention of the lyric on this blog (scroll down to the March 25th post): http://silverdollarcircle.blogspot.com/2004_03_01_archive.html Death gives life meaning, blah, blah, blah... The lyrics are ambiguous, that's sure. But I think you'd really be reaching if you interpreted them as "life sucks, have as much sex as possible." It's good advice, just don't hear it in this song. :)

i saw your question on the BOnnie Billy page, and hosing means to have sexual intercourse, with great vigour. So I think billy is trying to say, life sucks, have as much sex as possible

daar geraken is niet echt het probleem, maar 's avonds is de laatste trein al om half elf en ik vrees dat dat een beetje nipt is. ik probeer eerst vervoer te regelen en dan een ticket te bemachtigen.
