There's this site I use from time to time, called the Mixxer.com. This is a site that was made for people who want to learn new languages. Basically you make an account and look for Native speakers of the same language you want to learn and visa versa. After you've contacted them, you can set up a time to talk to each other on skype or some other form of communication. It's the next closest thing to being in Japan.

It's almost like we (jRock music lovers) discovered a secret that no one else knows about. A world much greater than our own. Spiritual much? haha, I know. I've been studying Japanese for at least 2 years now. My eventual goal is to one day go to Japan with some friends, but first I need to be able to speak Japanese fluently. I've dedicated myself to learning one new Kanji symbol per day. Do you understand Japanese or know any bit of it?
