That's quite unfortunate, a real kick in the balls. Are there any shows that are outside of your country but near enough to travel to? I would think not. I know of bands being from areas such as the Middle East (Orphaned Land and Rabies Caste are both from Israel) but I was curious as to if and how bands perform live over there.

Yes, in the States we are quite fortunate to get a regular diet of live shows (from big arena shows to smaller venues). I don't think it's quite as good as in Europe (the underground circuits, anyhow) but still, I can't complain in the slightest, I've seen my fair share of great bands. Do you think they were banned due to their lyrics/subject matter? Is Egypt quite conservative when it comes to religious beliefs?

thanks mate, was curious what the death chord actually was? I heard it was a F#m7suss4/G when following the decending lydian mode in Dm with a capo on the 5th fret and half reverb through a 500 Watt Marshall Stack but I didn't want to try for obvious reasons. Could you shed some light on this matter as I need it for a school concert. cheers T
