I don't think i'm doing bad... was supposed to be seeing Kasabian today but my mate is skint. Seeing 4/5 of my favourite bands withing 4 months of each other... and Reuben have split up so it's a bit hard to see them live. I'm sure i'll see Deftones when they tour this year, aswell as Leeds. Hopefully Suicoperro support Biffy... or even better, go on their own tour and actually come to Sheffield.

Don't really know what to compare Modern Life is War to... They're just a really good hardcore band. Like a cross between Blacklisted and Give Up the Ghost. Definitely worth checking out. I messaged you some links, so check your inbox.

Oops "new" bands... Ampere and Sinaloa are pushing out a lot of great stuff, Algernon Cadwallader is very much in the vein of Kinsella's bands, the new Narrows album was released, and I really like Into the Moat but their newest album was a little disappointing but still worth listening to.

Yeah, usually when I have this much trouble finding a band I just cave and buy a few albums because they're usually less than $10, but since they're all UK bands the shipping pretty much doubles the price.
