Happy 16th scrobbling anniversary today! ... How fast time flashed by playing your 17.9k bands, or? ... May you experience many such musical cake days, and even more exquiste, musical discoveries in the years to come! ... What's your opinion about lastfm at the moment, and if you still remember, what did you anticipate when you joined ?

Right, lastfm is a great place for talking about music and more :-) What's on your musical agenda for today? I am listening currently some blues, and continue later my fresh "mix of the week" on spotify (which came out yesterday)

Gallows - Nice :-) On a somewhat related note the new Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes album (End of Suffering) is really good *-* A bit weird to hear Frank actually singing, but it suits him.

o hi, i'm good, college is a bit busier than usual nowadays but still. In terms of recs, well.. for non-japanese music I've been listening to The Paper Chase quite often lately, they're sort of noise rock with a type of 'unhinged' quality to their lyrics. I discovered Kreng as well, it's a modern classical/dark ambient project from belgium, very dark and sp00ky music. Also, the japanese band LLLL is quite interesting, they're a kind of downtempo trip-hop group. And the group Jikkendai Marmot are sort of interesting. They're not quite visual, but they could sort of fit into the scene. They have a sort of 'jazzy' sound and an interesting high-pitched vocalist

Not been listening to a lot of new stuff, mostly just The Dawn Chorus and Turbowolf. Also a band from Leeds called Black Moth who we saw supporting Turbowolf, kinda doom metal with female vocals.

Oh and... oricon and barks.jp use the Japanese tag as well... I guess they chose the romanized version for going "international", so yea, either way^^

I know, iTunes also tags them "TOKYO ROCKERS CLUB BAND", but you can't find any official/Japanese homepages unless you google the Japanese name. On myspace their band name is "東京ロッカーズクラブバンド=T.R.C.B.=", that's why I think the Japanese version is probably "more correct".... unfortunately they don't seem to have a (working) OHP, so we can only guess I think...
