very nice! how were the danish girls? I've been recovering from surgery the past several weeks, aka bumming out hardcore, so I randomly decided to start scrobbling and using soulseek again. I find that torrenting isn't half as satisfying as soulseek, and I don't listen to half the things I do torrent. you should get back on soulseek so I can leech mad tunez and fill up this new pc.

Tonight, for some unknown reason, I really missed hearing your music constantly play in the background while i was trying to do work. So I listened to your radio library and felt like i was back at home at Elon.

Indeed, Paul Mirek. And actually after the Replacements song, but close enough. And if you're interested in co-hosting, I don't mind seeing what happens in that regard. I'll talk to Julie, the new GM. I am currently not at my show, obviously, since I was sick yesterday and I have much to catch up on.

Yes, my show is Thursdays from 12-2 pm. I don't get in until about 12:30, since I have class until 12:10 (hooray scheduling failures), but my co-host (Paul/DJ Miracle, also an Honors Fellow) is typically there before me. I agree that there are a lot of fairly uninteresting shows. This might be of interest to you: I'm trying to start a second show next semester that focuses on 80s alternative (my current show features only female artists) and while it wouldn't be the majority of stuff, I would certainly feature 80s punk/hardcore musicians.

Roffle. Prestigious? But yeah, I do go to Elon. In fact, I am in the studio right now finishing up my radio show. Finishing because my laptop's about to die, it actually ends at 2:00 pm. Do you do anything with WSOE? Oh, yeah, and your charts are pretty sweet, too. Very diverse, and certainly artists I either admire or respect. Props for knowing who Hüsker Dü and Fantômas are.

yeah totally! I just recently moved into a new apartment and I don't have my internet installed just yet, so I'm not online as often as I'd like to be, but I'm sure I'll get set up soon. I will definitely add you to my friends, I'd love to share!

ross! yes, i have realized i haven't talked to you in a while and i'm not going to lie, it feels like a part of me is missing. the part that likes listening to incessant chatting about 4chan and memes and random facts. and being teased. but anyway, to respond to your previously previous message, no i have not had a chance to listen to the cd you burned because i am a genius and left it at home. :/ but as soon as i go home for spring break i am putting it on my computer. speaking of spring break, when is yours? and girl talk is coming to elon??? I WANNA COME.

You are right. Its just that I had a foolish propensity to trust technology a bit too much. I assumed that if it worked fine for a year then there would be no reason not to back it up (even though i had an almost empty 750GB external). I guess my fault was to leave the external up and running for almost 2 weeks without making sure the fan was still working :\. I already started to back my music on B-Rays & DVD9s just as an additional precaution.

I mean, for the average person it's way easier to do a backup on an external. and those are around $120-150. WD's are so great, supposedly hdds arent supposed to last longer than 5 years, and ive had the same old noisy one for over 7 years. I love it. // p.s. i never buy online, im too identity-theft afraid.

haha, I'm more a HUGE Illuminatus! Trilogy fan than a KLF fan (as my charts betray). Though I HIGHLY respect the KLF for all the shenanigans they pulled. Actually, I'll make a point of listening to the white room sometime this week... and watching that doc on them. Oh, I also have a copy of that The Manual book they put out,but never had the initiate to go through with all the instructions and manufacture a #1 Pop Hit. nice charts btw

I never realized our mustard was anything special.. I find it interesting that you only were a couple of days in Copenhagen and then spent five full days in Ikast. Shit, I don't even know anything about that town, except they have a handball team, which is supposed to be pretty good. But then again it's handball... Yeah nice scarf. I see a lot of indie kids in Copenhagen wearing that kind of scarf

You probably tried the great sandwich ketchup. What the people who made this ketchup were thinking when they made it I don't know, but yeah, it's gross as hell. However, we also offer a great variety of normal ketchup from the traditional Heinz to our own danish 'Beauvais'. I urge you to try this the next time you visit Denmark. Why were you here anyways? Also, nice charts. A dude with A Tribe C
