well,I fist began listening to Scar Symmetry,I found Sonic Syndicate really similar and I fell in love with all of them,then Soilwork(to be honest,I like only around 10 Sonic Syndicate songs...rest suck).For me,Scar Symmetry are the best(at least first 3 albums),but I love Soilwork as well.I call them the 4 "S" - Sonic Syndicate,Scar Symmetry,Soilwork,Sybreed... :D,anyway could you recommend me some Opeth songs?!I really dont have the time to give a proper listen to all their albums,ty in advance :)

Ce parere ai de albumul nou de la Born of Osiris? Pe mine m-a lasat fara cuvinte, n-am mai ascultat de mult timp ceva atat de extraordinar.

Yeah, at first I wasn't really impressed by Scurrilous... and somehow it annoyed me, that Roddy had so massively reduced the "screaming percentages". But somehow, the album has really grown on me, now and I'm starting to like the new territories they explored with this album. All in all, I'm starting to feel like this album is indeed a very remarkable achievement...

Pai cu Emmure lucrurile stau destul de complicat. Cu siguranta nu e cea mai buna formatie pe care o s-o auzi. Feedback-ul negativ la adresa trupei se datoreaza faptului ca nu sunt foarte complecsi din punct de vedere muzical, multi critica si felul in care sunt formulate versurile. Emmure se axeaza, in cea mai mare parte, pe agresivitate in sound si breakdown-uri puternice. Personal, imi plac pentru momentele in care vreau nu sa ascult ceva foarte 'pretentios', ci doar sa imi delectez urechea cu breakdown-uri ceva mai dure decat cele pe care le aud de obicei. :) Am observat ca e un fel de moda sa fii troll in shoutbox la Emmure, toata lumea o face. N-or fi ei cea mai buna formatie, dar cert e ca li se face mult mai multa reclama negativa decat merita. Totusi, daca ti-ai propus sa ii asculti, ti-as sugera sa incepi cu "Goodbye to the Gallows". Acum nu mai mult de o luna au scos si album nou, "Speaker of the Dead", care, din punctul meu de vedere, e mai mult decat extraordinar.

They were incredible live! The new songs sound VERY promising, they're just like Protest. Still shreddy, still some breakdowny parts, and there were also some proggier sections. Probably more like Fortress, but with some Kezia mixed in :)
