Hi! Greetings from the music trenches in Spain! Always great to hear from a fellow old guard. Hard to believe it’s been almost 20 years already… time really flies. Yours is coming up soon too 😉. Sorry I hadn’t written before. I’ve come across your comments on quite a few artists’ pages and finally decided to follow you (geat library, by the way!). I’ve always felt a bit awkward writing on someone’s board out of the blue, so thanks for firing the first shot. Been digging through your library and finding some proper gems. Any recommendations are gladly accepted!

Time does indeed fly. 😅 If I had kept my old profile I would already have crossed the line. 😬 No need to apologize at all, pal. I have a habit of posting on profiles, trying to keep a friendly and warm community alive. Even though some artist shoutboxes..... It's not like back in the day, let's just put it mildly... 😂 Well, now that we are acquainted, feel free to post a shout whenever you feel like it. 😉 41k artists in yours....🥴 😂 I'm glad you like the dusty shelves I've amassed over time, anything in particular you dug out? Haha, well, except for my short metal detour at the moment, I've primarily been exploring jazz. Any sort of genre recommendation you'd want or something alike?

Hey! Sorry for the late reply. The past few weeks have been a nightmare. Thanks for dropping by again! Things are definitely not like in the good old days (hiding the comments section was yet another brilliant idea from someone who clearly hates last.fm). Btw, what happened to your old profile? When did you register? I certainly dug out great stuff: Kitty Kallen, Celtic Frost, Forbidden, and Den Gale Pose and L.O.C. (I assume you're Danish, right?). Denmark has always been on my "must visit someday” list, but I've never managed to make it. And thanks for bringing Cradle of Filth back to my radar, I hadn’t listened to them in ages. The 41K+ artists come from a slightly obsessive habit of exploring genres. I’ve been trying to organize it as a journey from Gregorian chant to the present while listening at least to one artist from every country. The downside is that sometimes I overlook things I already like. Danish or Jazz recs would be great,I've listened to the usual suspects!

Don't worry about it, life happens. I deeply hope you're doing okay since you mention it's been a nightmare? Hahaha, yeah I have no idea what on earth they were thinking with that either... 😮💨 I deleted it because it had a silly name and the library was a mess. I don't think you could change your username back then? I made it in 2005. Jeez, you really did dig in, hahaha. Why them? They are all over in my library. 😂 Try my top tracks from L.O.C.s "Ekkokammer" album. It's a bit different, his own melancholic style. You are assuming correct - and you'd be most welcome. Where do you hail from? You're most welcome! I saw Cradle live last year for the first time in a decade and it was great!! "Slightly obsessive". 😂 Hey, I can only commend you for being so entrenched in something that interests you. For jazz, I would recommend Jackie Gleason. He did a string of very successful instrumental jazz albums. They're so relaxing to listen to. I've become quite fond of listening to different..

artists interpretations of jazz classics to see how they'd approach them. I'll give you two Danish hip hop recommendations. MC Einar released the first Danish hip hop album. Feel free to dig in my scrobbles. And then there's Marvelous Mosell who became popular by rapping in Danish over disco classics. I'm seeing him next weekend, it's just one big disco party! His first album is not on streaming services because of rights. His own original song 'Antikommerciel masseappel' is a pretty good representation of what you're in for. 😎 Plenty of classic pop rock from the 80s, but you can chew on those first. I hope you have a delightful weekend in store. 🤗
