https://www.last.fm/music/South/South, they have a little "Bark Psychosis" to their sound (If you haven't checked them out yet, I'd highly highly recommend). Anyways this album is a classic example of a pre-streaming era gem that just for some reason never got the notice it deserved. https://www.last.fm/music/Clipd+Beaks/To+Realize - Also excellent

you can install the last fm scrobbler straight from this site and itll track it on your computer if you use any native music player. or you can use web scrobbler for when you use your web browser. or you can connect to spotify and then upload anything youve downloaded to local files and last fm will still scrobble it. i mostly use that last one i just talked about because its easy to track on my phone when im going out and doesnt give me any ads. (but local files can be very janky and hates .flac format so be careful). but just do what feels most convenient to you honestly.

thanks, mate. my hearing isn't that good anymore, but I don't know if the noise bands are to blame for that.. excellent taste, by the way.

yeah 69 love songs is the one everyone likes the most. it's my favorite album of all time but even still i recommend you listen to holiday and get lost first, to get a taste of stephin's songwriting. they're both lo-fi synthpop but the hooks are infectious and some of the shit he does with the synths on those records shouldn't even be possible.
